  • ALAMO SF GATORS T-SHIRTS ON SALE NOW! This special edition shirt is only available for a limited time. Proceeds will support 5th grade class events and activities. ​Click HERE for more information and the order form. A few hard copies are available in the school office. Deadline for orders is Friday, April 8.

  • WAX MUSEUM: The "Wax Museum" by Room 211 is open to the entire Alamo community on Friday, March 25, from 11:10-11:40 am in the library.

  • ACADEMIC CHESS AT ALAMO: Sign up for the last session of chess starting after spring break. Click HERE for flyer.
  • SAVE THE DATE, MAY 11, 6pm, END-OF-YEAR MUSIC PROGRAM: Join us for a very exciting evening music program with a performance by an excellent New Orleans Jazz Quartet “Chelle and Friends.”Join us for light refreshments at 6 pm, and the concert will start at 6:30pm. 
  • ALAMO END-OF-YEAR PLAYDATE: On Friday, May 27, from 11 am-1 pm, join us in Rochambeau playground (25th Ave. and California Street) to say goodbye to your Alamo friends before we go enjoy summer break. Bring a ball, jump rope, or a game to play and a snack to share.

  • SCIENCE FAIR: It’s experimentation time again! The Annual Alamo Science Fair is Tuesday April 19th! Science fair sign-up forms were sent home in last week’s red envelopes, and are due back to your child’s teacher/the office science fair box by Friday March 25th (before spring break). We encourage all students to participate in the Science Fair- up to 3 students can contribute to a poster/project regardless of class or grade. All students who participate get a prize! If you have any questions or would like to volunteer at the science fair, please email Jenn Erskine-Ogden at jerskineogden@gmail.com. Happy hypothesizing!
  • JUST 10 SPOTS FOR VOLUNTEER DAY: There are only 10 spots available to join Alamo's Volunteer Day at the SF Food Bank on Sunday April 10, 9-11 am!!! Please register directly by emailing paltertal@hotmail.com with the number of participants in your party, full names, and children’s ages.
  • REQUEST FOR WINE FOR WINE RING TOSS: With our Annual Spring Auction rapidly approaching, here's a great and easy way to contribute to another successful event. We need 50 bottles of red wine (we have plenty of white), $20 or greater in value, for our Wine Ring Toss. Please email Kerry Barrett directly: hikerry@gmail.com. We need all bottles collected by April 22. Kerry will pick up bottle(s) from you and store all bottles off school premises. We would especially appreciate $50+ bottles to encourage highest participation.

    • High-Five Sports Winter League: Alamo 1st graders and a 2nd grader played on four different teams for 10 weeks and picked up great basketball skills!
