In THE DEADLINE, Andy Friessen has packed up everything and moved his family two states away, to Montana, to protect his wife, Laura, his newborn babies, and his stepson, Gabriel, from the threats of his mother. What Andy doesn't know is that they'll soon face a new threat, one he never saw coming.

Gabriel is sick, and a trip to the doctor confirms Laura and Andy's worst nightmare: Without a lifesaving transplant, their son won't survive.

What Andy doesn't count on, as he tracks down the young man who fathered Gabriel, as well as Laura's estranged parents, is that a whole host of problems are about to be unleashed.

In THE PRICE TO LOVE...I knew my husband wanted a baby, but I couldn't give him one. When Neil paid for a surrogate and moved her into our home, he told me not to worry, but I couldn't help but notice that she recognized the strong, sexy alpha male inside him, and I suddenly felt as if I was on the outside looking in.

Then, one day, I met Cat, the young girl who stole my heart. I saw something in Cat that I couldn't turn away from: a damaged, scarred soul filled with the kind of despair and hopelessness that should never have been in the innocent eyes of a child.

Cat needed me--my voice, my hugs, and my love--and she captured my heart. However, neither Neil nor his family understood my need to help her. I found myself alone, and I knew I was the only one who could save Cat before it was too late.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF LOVE brings back the couple that started it all: Brad and Emily. You fell in love with them in The Forgotten Child. Now, years later, they face an entirely new set of challenges with their preteen autistic boy when his mother, Crystal, returns. She wants a relationship with the boy she abandoned--something Brad and Emily never expected. She says she's changed, but can the Friessens believe her?

A VOW OF LOVE, A Friessen Family Christmas

Sometimes families need a helping hand...

Holidays are about family, love, and giving, but this Christmas, the Friessens are in for a rough holiday season.

Thirteen days before Christmas, a letter arrives that Candy Friessen was never meant to see. When she opens it, she discovers a lie that rocks her world, and she begins to question everything she and Neil have created together, including his love for her and their family.

Seven days before Christmas, her heart breaking, Candy considers leaving her husband for good, and she begins making plans--until a call one night alerts all the Friessens that Becky, their mother, is in the hospital, fighting for her life. Without a second thought, the entire Friessen clan is on a plane to her bedside. Faced with uncertainty, Brad, Neil, Jed, and their wives are together for Christmas, but there's no happy celebration, no gifts piled under the tree.

For Candy and Neil, once trust is destroyed, can their family bond be strong enough to save their marriage?

“The Deadline” is a continuation of Andy and Laura’s story. Just when things should be better with a new beginning, their world is turned upside down. But as we’ve come to expect from the Friessens, they face this challenge with strength and courage. This is an emotional tale in this on-going saga that will keep you involved until the very end. It’s a fast-paced read filled with dramatic twists that will hold your attention and have you looking forward to the next episode.

“The Price of Love” finds Neil ready to move to the next step in his marriage to Candy, but is she ready to take the same step, and are they both willing to pay the price? From the beginning you actually can feel the disconnection between Candy and Neil, and as you continue to read the emotions just keep getting deeper. You can feel Candy’s confusion as there’s a lot going on that isn’t clear, but eventually when it’s all made clear, you’re left wondering if the price is going to be too high. This is another gripping episode in the Friessen’s saga that will twist your heart as you become emotionally involved, leaving you anxious at the end for what’s to come.

“A Different Kind of Love” shows Brad and Emily years later with the blended family they have made together. Things seem to be going well until Crystal unexpectedly shows up wanting a place in her son’s life again. This is an emotional roller coaster that will keep you riveted as Emily struggles not to feel her place in Brad’s and Trevor’s lives threatened. It’s a tale that is filled with the type of family dynamics that will keep you reading from start to finish. But even though things seem to work out for Brad’s family, Neil still has a secret that may come back to haunt him.

“A Vow of Love” brings Neil’s secret out in the open, leaving Candy devastated and feeling lost. But then a phone call comes that brings the Friessen family together, with more secrets revealed and the chance for a bond even stronger than before. This one will tear at your heart and bring a few tears. There are also some shocking revelations which may change the way you look at this amazing family. It’s been quite a family saga that has brought strong feelings, riveting and gripping emotions, and never-ending entertainment. The journey’s been bumpy at times but well worth the ride. The best is that there’s more Friessens to come, and I am certainly looking forward to each every one.

Gotta Love the Friessens!

The Friessen Men have met their perfect matches in Emily, Diana, Candy, and Laura. And because the men are all strong willed and stubborn, the women have their hands full keeping them in line. I laughed and cried through this series, and even wanted to knock some heads together, but I always stayed up to the wee hours of the morning to finish because I couldn't put it down!
