7 unique San Diego dining adventures
San Diego Food System Alliance’s Re:Source initiative features four-course menus using kitchen scrap ingredients that would normally be thrown out. The goal is to inspire chefs and diners to reduce food waste with creative recipes. The first was held Wednesday April 6. The next is May 10 at chef Rob Ruiz’s (pictured) Land & Water Co. restaurant, 2978 Carlsbad Blvd., Suite 110, Carlsbad. And Cafe Gratitude in Little Italy hosts on June 21.
