Dealing with the guilt of still living without Randy, are Randy's best friends and parents.

"I don't know if it's fate, coincidence, or my curse, but I'm still breathing, and my breaths are for you."
Mags McManus is far from a normal woman in her mid twenties. Being a war widow, a business professional, and a brokenhearted train wreck only skims the surface of the layers of who Margret McManus truly is. Waking up in a hospital bed, alone and confused, Mags once again has to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart. With her best friends by her side, Mags slowly starts to learn the answers she so desperately longs for. But is everything going to continue to spiral out of control? Or is there a light at the end of this dark, twisting tunnel where all the broken pieces can finally fall back together?
-----
Crashing: The Wedding (#0.5) -
**This Book is a Standalone** It is a companion novella to The Crashing Series and takes place before Crashing Back Down (book 1 in the series).
Well this is freaking great...
Right when my best friend's wedding was in full swing, the flowers were paid for, the dresses were being tailored and the bachelorette party was planned and nonrefundable, the bomb gets dropped right on my doorstep at four in the morning.
"The Wedding is OFF!" Mags yelled right as I opened the door to my apartment.
Oh hell no! We're not canceling these plans. I will make this work. I will get her and Randy on track to walking down that freaking isle. I am getting to go on a bachelorette weekend vacation to party with my best friend! This is happening whether Mags and Randy like it or not.
That's what a best friend is for, right?!

Love love love

I love The Crashing Series. I have no clue why I let this beautiful series sit on my kindle for so long. Such a beautiful heartwarming read. Your heart gets ripped apart and put back together beautifully. I love the tight net friendship of Mitch, Cali, Margaret and Walker. You can feel the love and the healing each goes through from beginning to the very end. The whole time I've rooted for these friends. Such a beautiful read.

I really enjoyed this series; all of the characters had interesting backstories and their friendships were incredible! Mags’ story was heartbreaking but hopeful (and happy in the end); I also enjoyed reading the novella about Mags and Randy’s wedding. 4 stars!

The Crashing Series

I've read these books separately but enjoyed them as a set as Walker and Mags work through everything to come together. Love how the story unfolds!

What happens when you have your entire life ahead of you. Then one day everything flips upside down? This is where Maggie finds herself. She has had the ups and she is now overcoming the downs. After losing her husband to an unexplainable, freak accident, she is left to pick up the pieces of her heart, soul, and life.

Vowing to stand beside Mags, Walker, Mag's husbands best friend, is determined to make sure Mag's survives this loss. Through the grieving process, healing, and learning to live again he is there through it all. But, he carries a secret that no one can ever find out.

This book is full of fun laughter, heartache, and true friendship. I found myself sitting with a lump in my throat as Maggie struggled with the developing feelings that she has. I also wanted to wrap Walker up in a hug and never let him go several times. Through all of this I loved to watch how Maggie's tight knit group of friends stood beside her when she needs them the most.

This is a story that makes it jump out of the pages and seem as if you are right there in the room with each of them as everything takes place. You can feel the pain and the emotions pull at each of them while they try to deal with the harsh hands that life deals them. What do you do when the one you long for belongs to someone else? What happens when life becomes too much to bare? How would you deal with this? Would you be strong enough to stand or would it all weigh you down so much that you would be unable to stand? These are all questions that I found myself asking. I think I got my answers. Maybe you will too, but remember as you will learn from this book, when it seems to be to much there is always a reason to smile.
