Deadpool post-credits scene teased by screenwriter

As should be clear by now, Deadpool isn’t your average superhero movie. From the R rating to the title character’s constant breaking of the fourth wall, Deadpool sets out to mock and/or twist every convention of the superhero movie genre. Apparently, that even includes the standard post-credits tease scene. Screenwriter Rhett Reese tweeted Sunday that Deadpool includes not just one but two codas, one of which hasn’t been included in screenings so far.

Artist Rob Liefeld, who originally created Deadpool with writer Fabian Niecza back in 1991, also tweeted something similar.

So does this mean we’ll see that in the time-honored tradition of Marvel post-credits scenes we’ll see Deadpool joke about eating schwarma, or dancing like Baby Groot? Not even the critics know, apparently. Deadpool opens everywhere this Friday, Feb. 12.
