You may place a nomination once per day for your favorite businesses, people, and places that make Charlotte such a special place to call home. If you’re a superfan, you can share the direct links to the category voting pages, so go nuts drumming up support on social media.

Charlotte magazine does not facilitate or host voting contests for any partner.

About the Best of the Best Awards Issue
For 25 years, Charlotte magazine has dedicated its May issue to the BEST of the BEST in Charlotte.
We call it “The BOB Awards” for short, and we recognize the city’s finest in food and drink, entertainment, shopping, mind and body, and more–almost a hundred winners in all. If you’re not one already, become a subscriber here to ensure you see the winners published in the May 2024 issue. Otherwise, we will later share the results online at Charlottemagazine.com.
How Does It Work?
Winners are picked and written up by staffers, former staffers, and regular contributors of Charlotte magazine. When we pick a winner, not only have we been there, but we’ve been to several other top contenders as well. We are confident in saying that our pick is the best in town.
We also ask the Charlotte community to vote for their favorites in a few categories, and voting opens in January each year.
