The aim of this questionnaire is to determine the needs of researchers in relation to text mining. Text mining refers to the process of deriving high-quality information, patterns and trends in textual documents through different types of automated means with the objective to offer better quality annotation, search and retrieval services.

This survey is realized in the context of the OpenMinTeD project. OpenMinTeD aspires to enable the creation of an infrastructure that fosters and facilitates the use of text mining technologies in the scientific publications world, builds on existing text mining tools and platforms, and renders them discoverable and interoperable.

Completion of this questionnaire takes about 15 minutes. Participation in this survey is of course voluntary. The collected  data will be treated confidentially according to the data protection regulations. Determination of your identity is not the aim of this study.
