Massive layoffs across MD&D-DePuy Synthes to be hit the hardest.

    Expect to see significant layoff announcements across MD&D. When J&J reports earnings tomorrow, the investors will not respond favorably to the decline in sales and profit numbers for MD&D and the only way for J&J to gain investor confidence is to show they are cutting expenses. The layoffs will be significant and no one is safe. Expect a significant flattening of the organization. D1 and D2 positions will be axed like you've never seen before. People will be exiting by year-end 2015. Get your resume ready. No one is safe. A team at corporate J&J is already taking the ax to DePuy Synthes, slashing head count big time.

    I wish they would fire me, I can't take the suspense any longer.

    I masturbate at least 4 times a day. I don't cover cases any more. I thought the maturbation would help but it's making me more anxious. Sometimes I go to the mall and wander around aimlessly just to kill time. I don't answer my phone and I usually have my first drink by 2pm. I blame the new company culture for my behavior. I blame management. I have no direction, I am all alone.

    As a significant J&J shareholder, it's about damn time J&J starts trimming the fat and reducing costs to move the stock price. Let's start with the huge empire that has been built within the Quality, Regulatory, and Compliance functions at DePuy Synthes. These are non-revenue earning functions and the number of resources/heads in these functions far outweigh the customer facing revenue generating positions. Fix the culture at this organization by putting more ethical leadership in place and you wouldn't need the army that exists in these policing functions. The leaders of these organizations have built small empires and lots of fat to be cut in these organizations.

    This response is hysterical. So, let's adopt a strategy where we spend a shitload of money continually policing internal people and practices rather than address the root cause of the problem which is the unethical leadership across DePuy Synthes that lacks any form of a moral compass. It's the leadership that sets the tone and the same unethical leaders keep getting promoted and given new responsibilities. This leadership will only continue to hire people in the likeness of themselves. They then mentor and develop those reporting to them so they adopt the same unethical practices and behaviors. Bravo J&J, another brilliant strategy.

    Major RIF's are at least an annual event for J&J and in particular at this time of year. The GHRT initiative and now the pending doom of the ESP initiative has left the HR, Finance, and IT functions with such uncertainty about their jobs for the past 3-7 years. This excerpt from the Credo below is nothing more than a crock of shit. The Credo isn't worth the paper it was written on. J&J should just take it down from the hallways and admit they are no different than any other profit driven organization that is absent of solid values. When you read this excerpt, it's almost comical.

We must respect their dignity and recognize their merit. They must have a sense of security in their jobs. Compensation must be fair and adequate, and working conditions clean, orderly and safe.
