Since the time news of Pratyusha Banerjee's suicide paved its way to the media, shocking revelations have surfaced from the late actress's life that has shocked and surprised many. The actress passed away in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri after attempting suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan. When she was admitted to the hospital, she was pronounced dead. Her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been accused of being the reason of her death by the actress's parents and friends. However, there is still investigation going on for the same. Now the Balika Vadhu's housekeeper REVEALED another shocking facet of this suicide case. Talking to a leading daily, she went on record about how Pratyusha used to ask for money from her for her medicines or taxi fares. Although many reports stated that the 24-year-old was not in any financial crunch still this new angle has left everyone tongue tied. Renu Sinha was asked to keep an eye on Pratyusha by the actress's mother. She used to work for Pratyusha for three months and lived in the same house. "Pratyusha Banerjee frequently borrowed small sums of money from her house help for buying medicines or to hire a cab," stated the report.

Here's what Renu shared:

"I grew close to Pratyusha after her mother was packed away from Mumbai since Rahul did not like her presence in the house. Pratyusha's mother had asked me to keep an eye on her daughter. She used to call me 'didi," said Sinha. "At odd hours in the night, I used to hear raised voices from the couple's room. I wanted to rescue Pratyusha but didn't know if it was right to interfere in a private matter between them. Whenever Rahul left home, I would coax Pratyusha into telling me everything. She spoke of Rahul accusing her of having an affair with her former boyfriend. I was also a witness to the incident where Rahul's ex-girlfriend stormed into the flat and hit the couple, raining choicest of abuses."

She later added, "Pratyusha gradually learnt of Rahul's past including his previous marriage. She was terrorised by Rahul. He wouldn't let her do things she loved, like eating out and watching movies. He kept postponing plans to tie the knot with her."
