Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart may roll the dice with Sony Pictures. The Central Intelligence costars are in very early talks to join the cast of the studio’s Jumanji reboot, EW has confirmed.

Jake Kasdan is directing the movie, which is billed as a new take on Chris Van Allsburg’s Caldecott-winning children’s book about a jungle-themed board game whose dangers magically come to life. The story was previously brought to the screen in 1995 by filmmaker Joe Johnston, with a cast including Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst.

Johnson and Hart have become something of a dynamic duo of late, pairing up for the New Line action-comedy Central Intelligence (opening June 17) and co-hosting the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month. They each have several projects in the pipeline — including Fast 8 and Rampage for Johnson and The Intouchables for Hart — which could make scheduling a challenge with regard to their potential Jumanji involvement.

Jumanji is scheduled to open July 28, 2017.

Variety first reported the news about Johnson and Hart.
