There is unfinished business for the S-Island survivors and it centers around Lakeview. The New Orleans' neighborhood has been taken over by a sadistic group of bikers called the Southern Clan.

Hannah Klink, who everyone calls Baby no matter how many times she punches them, is training her fellow survivors to defend themselves and work as a unit. The goal is to take back the refugee base at Lakeview and put the Army back in charge. It's a daunting task as the group runs into hordes of the dead and encounters resistance when they attack. It's just another day in the life of Baby, MJ Security grunt and zombie apocalypse survivor...until she meets Rebel.

Rebel is an MC member by birth, but not by heart. By luck or bad karma he was home from college when the SHTF. Now he's forced to be a part of the club's ruthless plans for the sake of survival. The brothers know he's not one of them, but he keeps his head low and his nose clean as much as possible. Until all hell breaks loose and Rebel is faced with a choice- loyalty to the club, or follow his gut and the cute blonde that likes to order him around.

An action-packed continuation of the Amazon bestselling NOLA Zombie series. There is graphic violence, sexual encounters, bad language and a few zombies in NOLA Zombie Book Four.

Gillian Zane is an Amazon bestselling author that specializes in dark genre fiction for adults. Gillian defines herself by the city she was raised in, New Orleans. She’s tried moving away a few times but always comes back. At the age of ten, she decided she would be a writer and has been determined ever since. Between that decision and when she actually finished a book that she believed was good enough to publish, she’s served in the military, worked as a bartender, became a cog in the corporate marketing wheel as a person “that makes things pretty” and has since been laid off too many times to count. She currently writes full-time, but still, continues to “make things pretty” by designing book covers and websites for her fellow authors and bloggers. Gillian lives in New Orleans with her husband, her daughter, and a fat cat named Sushi. A prepper at heart, she also recently added chickens to the mix in her efforts to progress toward self-sufficiency.

I couldn't put this book down. I wasn't paying attention to the page numbers and was stunned to see I had finished! I loved Rebel and Baby's story, it was sooo good. I need more, especially Romeo! There are lots of characters that need their story told. Jazz definately has a story to tell.

Gillian Zane is one of those gifted authors that knows how to derive and evoke every kind of emotion imaginable from a reader. Justice does exactly that it brings every emotion imaginable to the surface from the moment you open your e-reader, and stays with you until the very end.

Gillian took all of the animosity and pent up rage that we've felt in this series so far and threw it all into Justice. These bikers were vicious, hateful, despicable humans, yet even during the lowest of times she was able to let a sliver of hope shine through. Gillian has created a world we've all feared in our deepest darkest dreams, she paints a picture so vivid it comes to life in your mind. Each scene seemingly more real, more intense than the next. Emotions running on high, fueled by adrenaline, hunger, fear. What will you do when the world as we know it comes to an end? When we have to embark on a new adventure into something completely unchartered.

Gillian's ability to bring these doomsday, or end of the world questions to light add such life and fervor to her novel. Gillian Zane not only creates a world of utter chaos in which her characters are striving to create some semblance of order, she allows us as readers to feel as if we are truly along for the ride. During which time you feel every single emotion Rebel, Baby, Miranda and every other person in the book feels. Fear, Anger, Sadness, Hope. Gillian Zane delivers Justice swiftly to us gift wrapped with a nice little bow. Only is it truly Justice or prolonging the inevitable? That's the question she plants into our minds. For that answer you'll have to read and come to a conclusion on your own.

The chemistry you feel between Baby and Rebel is intense to say the least. I love the fact that these two characters are not your typical romance he's not your Alpha Male except in the bedroom. Quite the contrary she's our Alpha in the relationship which adds so much dynamic to this incredible story.

Gillian Zanes not only creates an intensely brilliant storyline she will have you questioning the very fabric of our existence.

Justice is the fourth book in the Nola Zombie Series and Zane's most brilliant work to date.
If you haven't added this to your TBR list today don't waste another moment. It's worth the read!

A pretty slow burn post apoc romance.

I just don't think this series is for me. I thought this story dragged a bit. I liked Rebel and Baby, I just wished they got more time together. They didn't even meet until around 30%.

Justice is the latest novel about the #NOLAZombie Surviors. The first three novels dealt with Alexis and her men, Blake and Zach. We got a short novel between their story and Baby's, where we saw the virus break out in real time through Romeo's eyes. All through this you wonder if you would be a survivor, dinner or a zombie if it happened for real. Not sure which I would be, probably dinner.

So Baby's been working for Blake and Zach for a bit after her run in the Army when the shit hits the fan in the form of a zombie apocalypse. She made it to S Island, or Survivor Island. Being on the short side with a ton of white blond hair, everyone has named her Baby, but her really name is Hannah Klink. She hates being called Baby. Hard as nails, she is training the newbies for battle. See Lakeview, a section of New Orleans, is where a group of MC badasses have holed up and they kidnapped Alexis. Now that they have Alexis back, they can't ignore the problem. It's time for battle and Baby wants to be on the front lines

Rebel, or Reid, really doesn't want to be part of the MC he was born too. He wanted to go to college and leave it all behind, but when the apocalypse hits he goes back to his father, who is the Sergeant of Arms for the MC. Rebel keeps his head down, tries to go unnoticed, spends his food credits on one woman to seem normal, even though he never has sex with her and he hides his extra rations. He is planning to leave with the President of the MC is killed by Alexis. He gets demoted and the shit hits the fan with S Island with some military help, come back to take over.

Sparks fly between these two right off, but Baby isn't falling for the good guy act. Rebel considers himself a coward, but cooperates in every way to show he isn't like the rest of them. The banter goes back and forth between these two and a mission causes them to connect in a base way that brings them closer.

The ending left me feeling like I wanted more. It kind of abruptly ends, but without any cliffhangers. So I guess it wrapped it up nice and neat, I just wanted a little more about these two as I loved their characters.

In the end, we are reminded that survival is the instinct that the world will probably revolve around for some time. Eat or be eaten, literally. Rebel isn't quite the coward he thinks he is, just someone trying to survive the world that has gone to Hell in a hand basket. Baby is learning she has more than herself to rely on and that there are no guarantees for anyone, even the strong.

An interesting addition to the NOLA Zombie series with Romeo up next to get his story....and you have to read how this all began from his point of view, because something from that story is coming back to bite him in the ass...and we hope she isn't a zombie when she does it :)

Justice by Gillian Zane
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Baby!!! YAY ! I freaking love her and am super excited to read her story. Rebel…interesting love choice. He is a good guy stuck in a bad situation that is for sure.
So Baby and the rest of the MJ group go and bust into the old National Guard Amory AKA MC trafficking headquarters. She is sent to help find the children after they find and capture most of the bad MC Guys who bought Lex and Clara from the rednecks…smh Clara!!
Rebel was stuck and afraid to leave this horrible life he had but he didn’t really know what else to do. He tried to protect the woman he could when he could. After Lex and more of the “property” escape he is tasked with protecting the children. He does a great job keeping a teen girl safe from pervy eyes of one of the MC guys and also rushes the kids to safety when the Army busts in.
Baby and Rebel get the job of finding solar power panels and supplies. When some biters attack, Rebel and Baby find themselves on the run annnd into a comfy bed!! *Wink* Baby and Rebel has grown very close and she fears when they return because the MC guys are all standing trail for the crimes they committed against the woman, children and civilians.
The trials were awesome nd Clara got what she deserved that is all I gotta say. Junior…EEECK!! But the statement Baby gives to the courtroom about Rebel *sigh*……

I knew I liked Hannah a.k.a Baby, but getting a chance to see her with her guard down was a real treat mixed with all the crap of the Post Z World!! Not sure we could have asked for more from Rebel, as he gave so freaking well.

This story follows along the same subplot but we also get different main characters. I was really excited to see Hannah get to find love and couldn't wait to see who Rebel was. I love how the author kept the zombies as a main focus of the series. It didn't take a huge back seat to everything that was going on and I appreciated that. Rebel was so respectable even if he was hard. The author gives more details on back story's and really expanded the character development. This story had more heart then the others and I will admit to having to wiping away tears.I can't wait to read the last one! 4 stars #2OCCJD

Baby gets her happily ever after..

Who would've thought Hannah aka 'Baby' would fall for a bad boy biker like Rebel? Though the bikers are a bad crowd and have done some horrific stuff to others, Rebel is nothing like them. Yes he wears their patches and colors but he gets no join in hurting others or getting high. They are an unlikely pair but go together perfectly.

Once again, Ms. Zane has created a captivating read that was full of action, walking corpse, smart mouthed woman, and sexy men who will do anything for them. Oh, and smoking HOT sex scenes. Can't forget those ;)

Good LORD, what an awful book. It IS possible to find erotic books to read that aren't written at a 5th grade level, you know. The use of the English language in this is atrocious, with the same adjectives and verbs being repeated twice in a sentence, four times in a paragraph. The description of action is sloppy, character dialogue doesn't sound like anything a real, living person would say, it's all just terrible.
Just because you want to read a book that's a little saucy, doesn't mean you have to settle for marvelously sub-par writing.

This installment is baby's story. I have to applaud this book a little bit more as it focuses more on the after effects of a zombie apocalypse not just erotica. It's nice to finally getting to see baby as a woman versus a soldier. Definitely the best book in the series by far.

Great series. I had to read them all in one go. I liked how in this book, the heroine wasn’t a kickass capable of rescuing herself like the heroines in the previous stories. There was variety in the characters like there is in life which makes it all the more enjoyable to read.

Excellent!

I wasn't sure about this one since the series was based mostly on Lex, Blake and Zach, but I was pleasantly surprised. Zane brought out the essence of Baby and painted Rebel brilliantly. I love this one as much as all the others in the series and I can't wait for #5 Honor.

I loved Baby and Rebel's story. It happens fast, but not at the expense of the characters or the plot that has been spanning The NOLA zombie series.
We get to see a sweet side to Baby, and Rebel is the sweetest bad ass. Gillian Zane has quickly become one of my favorite writers. I cant wait to start reading HONOR.

Good story abrupt ending

Enjoyed the story, but it was short with an abrupt ending. It was like on trial one moment, then over and done on the next page. It was jarring.
