If
you've always wanted to learn to knit, treat yourself to a free knitting lesson and knit for a cause at the Denham Springs-Walker Branch of the Livingston Parish Library! Participants will learn how to start a knitting project and learn the knit
stitch while
working on a blanket square to send to "Warm Up America," a nonprofit
organization that distributes afghans to the needy. After our initial
session, participants will bring their squares home to finish. A follow
up session will be held on October 11 where
participants will learn how to bind off their project and prep their
finished squares. Space is limited, so registration is required. Please call the
