This place is on the second floor. Ignore the people waiting if you don't already have a reservation made in advance with the phone app, as you'll need to go to the "Guide & Ticket" counter where there is a machine. Once at the machine, choose the left red button unless you have a mobile app reservation (right blue button). Then choose the amount of people in your party (adults and children or student) and whether you want a table or counter seat. Submit the form and a number will be printed out on a receipt. Join the other guests waiting, or if you're lucky get seated right away.
My friend and I wanted to get seated at a booth so we waited about 40 minutes. It was a bit confusing as the only other conveyor place I'd been to was Uobei (which had the dishes stop right in front of you at the counter). Because this was a booth, the conveyor was constantly going around. It didn't stop, so you had to recognize which plate was yours. I missed a couple of my first plates trying to figure out which plate was mine. After a while, I figured out that our table had plates on top of another plate/bowl so they were a little raised up above the conveyor belt instead of just being directly on it.
Of course, be careful not to pick up another person's order. However, the staff was kind enough to bring out my missed orders when I explained what happened (so note that that is always an option).
The sushi here was about 100 yen for two pieces on average. They also have ramen, dessert, and fancier fish sets.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cliff C.Las Vegas, NV2132141736Dec 14, 2015First to Review
Places like Sushi-Ro are the reason why I'm such a sushi snob. This is a revolving conveyor belt sushi place that is beginning to catch on in the U.S. A basic plate will be about $1.10. Plates can range for premium items, but nothing is expensive at all. They bill you according to the color of the plate that your items come on. The white plates are the basic, cheapest items. The yellow plates are the premium items. As cheap as this sushi is, it's better than 90% of the sushi joints I eat at in the U.S. This makes it the most outstanding value for sushi I've ever had. Because of this fact, there is usually a very long line to eat here. So make sure you sign in to ensure your place in line. This place also has an app you can download to basically make a reservation in advance.
Now I have to say, this place is a marvel in technology as well! You don't have to just take the sushi that is revolving around. You can order what you want on the screen at your table as well. Each table is assigned a color and when your order is approaching near your table, you'll hear a little jingle followed by your color. You can order everything this way. Drinks, desserts, soups, etc.
Even a simple place like this will have items that you generally won't find at fancy joints in the U.S. such as cheese salmon and seared beef sashimi. I'm getting hungry just writing about this. This is a franchise all over Tokyo so take a visit whenever you can if you've never been!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Brick W.Downtown, San Diego, CA787161669Apr 7, 2016
This is basically the same as Sushi Train in the US. But the quality seems better, imagine that. You can order specific items form the kitchen and they will come out on a raised red saucer with a sticker on the side. The color and writing on the sticker indicate the table it's destined for. So be careful not to pick up another persons order. This place is super cheap, we eat here for about $13 which is unheard of for sushi. You will want to get here early as mid day the lunch rush hits on the weekend and because it's so cheap the place fills up and the wait appears EPIC!!
