Cady Lang TIME Magazine A keen observation of the rapidly changing social landscape of America in the 1960s. May 20, 2024 Full Review Graeme Blundell The Australian You'll find it's surprisingly easy to dip into. The writing is concise and fashioned with a 50s movies sense of deliberate structure. Each episode's A-story is easy to latch onto... Mar 28, 2020 Full Review Emily St. James AV Club Even with those quibbles about some of the storytelling and the pilot's over-obviousness, there's a wonderful, moving core here. Rated: A- Mar 26, 2018 Full Review Dan Buffa KSDK News (St. Louis) Jon Hamm's best role. Christina Hendricks' breakthrough role. Matthew Weiner's tale is a rarity: a great show that is also rewatchable. Nov 10, 2020 Full Review Jamie East The Sun (UK) Indulge yourself, it's a real treat. Rated: 5/5 May 22, 2020 Full Review Gem Seddon SFX Magazine Dramatic, funny, insightful - and that's just in the first episode. This is a compelling slice of nostalgic Americana, looking back at a period of great change with knowing winks and uber-cool style. Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Regina P I just started this series to see what the fuss was about. So far, I'm not seeing it just yet. It's okay. I am getting familiar with the characters. I will hopefully get through the entire series and finally get it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review Peacemaker Excellent TV series. Thoroughly engaging and one of the best TV shows I have ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review DMC M I'm having some trouble watching all the smoking, drinking and chauvinistic behaviour, but I'll stick it out. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/19/23 Full Review Madeline M Mad men. That's why it works. Half the people are clawing their way to a different century. To a simpler time. They want the ease of something laid out for them. The ease of structure no matter the detriments. Everyone has their place. They may move up a little but like a hard game of chess no one's making queen. Everyone's dodging back and forth like a secondary school basketball game. You know your place and you know if you're white or a man or if you're pretty it's going to work out for you. The rest of you are nostalgic about the fashion and attitude the decade expresses. Selfish enough to will the rest out of existence. Sex sells and it shows its existence in spades. It takes an era believed to be full of women bashfully showing "pretty ankles" to showing men how they could have compartmentalized different women on the side. The woman at the office, the independent woman in town, and finally your pretty little wife just outside of town. The hunger of the in office escapades made even more scandalous and mysterious by the time period. The need for it all but the equal need to hide it all. How simply ravenous. The entire decade and industry seen as an explosive ravenous continuum unstoppable by time because back then, the time was always then. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Mighty gamer P Begins OK & by E.5. becomes a masterpiece Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/25/22 Full Review anthony v Incredible work of art that is must see TV for anyone who likes well written dialogue and immensely compelling characters.
