Rate this book
The third book in the Heart of Stone series concludes the sensual and emotional story of Tristan and Nina that began in Crash Into Me and continued in Fall Into Me...

Tristan Stone has lived a life other men would kill for. Literally. But all the money, women, and fast cars mean nothing to him since Nina came into his life. Danger lurks around every turn with enemies wearing friendly faces. Whatever it takes, he'll protect the woman he loves because without her, life isn't worth living.

Nina Edwards had no idea of the world Tristan would give her. All her dreams have come true, but with the good comes the bad, and this world of his has more than enough of that. For love, though, she'll face not only Tristan's demons but anyone who stands in her way of finally finding happiness with the man she loves.

Seriously? No one else thought this book was wildly unrealistic, and felt the author was grasping at straws to elongate the series? All three books had such a great premise - even though the main character, Nina, drove me insane 99% of the time. However, I felt like this could have been condensed into one book, and left out a lot of unnecessary back and forth.

I will start off by saying that seeing Tristan and Nina's journey come to an end is very emotional and bitter-sweet. This book/series deserves way more than 5 stars and I wish very much that we could get more Tristan and Nina because I'm just not ready to say goodbye to them! = (

This is a completely spoiler-free review, as some folks may not have started the series. Let's just say that, from the time I picked up the book, my heart was racing and Tristan and Nina pulled on my heart strings and I was completely enamored by their devotion to one another regardless of the abundance of crap and bad shit that was thrown their way.

I truly appreciated Nina's growth throughout the series, but it was clearly visible in Crash In To Me that she had greatly matured; she was more sure of herself and definitely a stronger woman in comparison to the first two books, in which her naiveté irritated me a bit. I loved that no matter how much money she now had; she was still the same down-to-earth, middle class girl she was prior to Tristan. It was astonishing that regardless the horrible situations that Tristan involved her in, she chose to face them head on and stayed committed to him (even though I probably would've slapped and kicked him a few times and left his sorry ass LOL!), but then again, I understand...we're talking about freaking Tristan "freakin" Stone!! = )

As for Tristan, this man was not perfect by any means; he's as broken as they come. But, as I've had to question his sanity and decisions throughout the series (my poor iPad has had to suffer as proof..LOL), I refused to give up on him. I just felt so emotionally vested and connected to him - his urge to fight his past and right his (and his families) wrongs, his demons, emotional struggles and pain he suffered, and in every page and chapter, although I wanted to shake the hell out of him and strangle him at times, I cheered and rooted for him and his hope for redemption and happiness.

Tristan and Nina's story will forever be embedded in my heart! One of THE BEST series I've ever read thus far. K.M. Scott truly takes you on an extreme and intense emotional journey filled with sadness, despair, disappointment, danger, as well as hope, redemption, happiness and joy. As trust, loyalties and allegiances are tested and betrayed throughout the series, you will be left pondering if Nina and Tristan will ever get their shot at happiness and overcome all their adversities.

I highly recommend the Heart of Stone Series and I absolutely LOVE Give In To Me. Any author that can illicit such strong emotions from a reader to the point that they're left begging for more and depressed that the story of two amazing characters has to come to an end, has written one hell of a phenomenal book and should be proud! K.M. Scott is an outstanding author and I can't wait to see more of her work.

This is a Trilogy that I would not read until ALL three books were available. Will review after I read all 3.

Good storyline, a little mystery, some steamy bedroom scenes. All in all entertaining. I read all 3 books back to back knowing that book one and two both ended in cliffhangers. I hate those so I waited...I enjoyed the trilogy
the way that I wanted too instead of that dreaded period of wait in between books that I hate. These were pretty good read this way. I probably would not have like this story if I had had to wait. This way it was delightful! :)

Give me a long stand alone book and I am a more than happy girl!

The third book is about protecting Nina. Also, Tristan is in hiding and is going to fake his death. He wants Nina to pretend to move on so Karl will no longer feel threatened by them both. Tristan still needs to find out what Karl is looking for.Tristan wants to keep Nina safe and claims they are worth fighting for. Even if it means she has to pretend to be interested in another man.

My mind keeps drifting. I can't stay focused. It's so boring. The writing style is immature and lacking. Nothing written draws in my attention. I'm just reading the words and skimming through the pages as quickly as I can. I want to reach the end and move onto a better book.
Garbage is what this is. I like to read stories where I can relate with the characters not read junk. I'm wasting my time, yet I'm determined to finish because I spent good money.

This story is loaded with lies and deception. Tristan's love for Nina has brought nothing but pain into the lives of the people he associates with.
The story reminds me of a soap opera with all it's drama and flare for the unrealistic circumstances.

Nina is such a brat. All that money is making her sound like a spoiled temper-tantrum child.
Tristan has an abundance of money and pays for a detective and body guards, yet he does not pay to have Karl taken care of. Why? Would make the story better.
Money turns all these people into babies. They whine about everything.
All these characters are shallow. They immediately jump to conclusions and easily disregard friendship and love so carelessly.
When I read a story about the lead female character I look for someone who I can learn from and admire. Nothing Nina does is very admirable.
I think the look on Daryl's face is shock. He's shocked at how childish Nina is acting. Why must she be so dramatic?
Nothing was accomplished by Tristan moving away. So were back to square one with Tristan back in the house with Nina. When will we find out what Karl is hiding? Get on with it alrea

This book was all over the damn place.

The whole reason why Karl was the villain was so drawn out and anticlimactic. And then everything in Venice happened within 5 pages? It was so ridiculous.

Not to mention I felt like the author was setting up her future series with Gage and Jordan, which was so annoying since Jordan wasn't even a good friend to Nina the entire trilogy.

And then the whole gardener thing? C'mon.

I finished the series because I wanted to know how she tied it all together but honestly it wasn't worth it. Let me sum up the entire series 1) hopeless, spineless girl falls in love with billionaire within days 2) they have sex 3) something dramatic happens 4) repeat 2&3 endlessly 5) then they get married

Save your time.

It was a beautiful story with a very nice ending. I liked that it followed through the original story line it did not deviate! It has love, romance, mystery and even some funny parts. I really liked it, but my favorite was the second book. The rest of the characters are very involved in the story and it makes it even more interesting.

This series was amazing! Tristan and Nina's story had so many twists and turns that I was invested through their story that I was on the edge of my seat page after page. Each book consumed me with the suspense and mystery and this one was no different. You definitely want to read Tristan and Nina's emotional journey to find love and happiness. I didn't want this series to end and hope like hell there will eventually be more books in this series. I highly recommend grabbing each book in this series!

“Crazy, blissfully, in love happy!”

Give into Me KM Scott

Wow where do I start. I so want to do this series and this story justice. Sucks not being a professional writer. As a reader I have a tendency to write the entire story. I promise I won’t. I’ll try and hit on key points because Give into Me is the end of Tristan’s and Nina’s emotional love story.

At the end of Fall into Me, we have Tristan leaving Nina, giving her the house and enough money for the rest of her life. He does this to keep her safe. Not only is Nina in danger Tristan himself is being hunted down and it’s best to stay clear of her and take the attention off her.

So opening chapter Tristan has been gone for months, Nina is going out of her mind. She is an emotional wreck and is afraid Tristan won’t come back. She’s got a little ritual going on, every morning she texts Tristan and every night. And every morning and every night there is no response. Tristan has not tried to get in touch with her. What Nina doesn’t know is that this separation is throwing Tristan into a black hole. He started to go down the path of drugs and alcohol but managed to pull himself out. It wasn’t easy. Neither one of them is handling the situation well at all, but Tristan refuses to contact Nina and put her in danger. He needs to find out what Karl is up to and what Karl is looking for. Tristan’s best bud Daryl (if you want to call him that) has been working every angle and trying to find anything that would explain what Karl is up to. Tristan has just about memorized Nina’s father’s notebook but isn’t finding anything. Until one afternoon he decides to re-read the notes and comes across something. Not sure what it is, he and Daryl discuss. Daryl also lets Tristan know that several of his properties have been ransacked, so they know Karl is looking for something. But what is the question and what is Karl afraid of. Tristan is starting to get antsy and Nina’s texts are tearing his heart out. It is so hard for him not to respond.

Daryl comes up with an idea to try and get Karl to back off and think Tristan is never coming back. They want Nina to pretend that she has moved one. Tristan knows she’ll refuse and sends a letter with Daryl to her explaining what he wants her to do. Her bodyguard Varo (Gage) is the man she’s supposed to be moving on with. This situation just went from bad to worse and Nina totally loses it.

I can’t say too much more without giving up the story, but let’s just say from this point on the story reveals so much it will blow you away. Nina’s sister pops back in and I have to say I dislike her (I actually hate her and her jealous tendencies) and what she does to Nina disgusted me I started crying at her evil nature. I just wanted to smack her.

The other disturbing twist was West Nina’s other bodyguard. I was floored. But nothing floored me more than Karl’s confessions to Tristan. I choked. Tristan all those years carrying all that guilt and thinking his father and brother were monsters. You will most definitely be caught off guard and not see things coming towards the conclusion of this story. But I have to say Tristan and Nina get their well-deserved HEA. I love Jordan’s mantra “good things happen to good people.” Yeah it does. The Epilogue will so give you something to think about I got my happy tears going there.

Give into Me gets 5* in my book and this trilogy is worth multiple reads. Once you read about Tristan and Nina you’ll be hooked. I look forward to the possibility of maybe Jordan’s story and maybe an update on the happy couple. And for your viewing pleasure enjoy a Fan Video of Give into Me http://vimeo.com/84985264

Book 3 of The Stone Trilogy is a great ending to this series, and it ties together all the loose ends from books 1 and 2, and it also draws to a close all the mystery surrounding Tristan and Nina's enemies.

This series tells the story of 2 people who find the kind of love that is so hard to find- true love- the kind of love that makes a man and a woman consider someone else's happiness besides their own. This book shows how Tristan and Nina come to terms with all the problems they are facing, and Tristan is finally able to do what it takes to secure having Nina in his life forever. Several people plot to destroy them for their own selfish greed, and their desire to have what does not belong to them and their hostility and hatred shines through the pages of this story.

Nina finally comes to realize what a terrible life Tristan has had, all the insecurity, the lonely days, the meaningless women ,drugs and alcohol and she decides to be the woman she knows only she can be for Tristan-he told her and he meant it when he told her he could not live without her. Nina will also stand up to anyone, including her own sister, and let her love shine through for the world to see.

A lot of terrible things happen in this last book, but I can honestly say that it could not have been written any other way. Will Nina and Tristan have their happily ever after, or will all the drama and angst and twists and turns of the plot put an end to them? You have to read it to find out, and I am so happy I read this trilogy!

I gave this book 5***** stars and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

So, overall, this was a pretty good series. The first book was good, the second book was GREAT and this book was not great, but good. I really loved Tristan, what he was trying to do and how much he loved Nina. And OF COURSE I love his alpha-maleness!! BUT, I will say, there were times I just grew a little bored in the final book. Some things were dragged out a little too long and then others seemed rushed. The one thing I really didn't like was the Epilogue. Yes, you get your HEA, we know that, but the Epilogue (to me anyway) is to look into the future, NOT waking up on your honeymoon. That was a real disappointment IMO.

Overall, I give the series 4 stars.

I'm looking forward to Gage and Jordan's story!

Will you have another series with Jordan and Varo next?

One thing constant in this trilogy though, it's that the characters don't listen to what other people say and immediately leave!

Wow!!! So many twists and turns in this one. Many surprises that I was not expecting at all. I could not put this one down. I am sad it's all over but after 2 major cliffhangers I am so happy to see Tristan and Nina happy. I really want to know if Tristan's dream comes true!!

The End of Nina and Tristan's story. I loved this trilogy. It kept things interesting, usually the third book of a trilogy is boring but not this one. The princess and the pirate story was the best part of the ending.

2.5 to 3 stars - The constant push and pull in this was nauseating. Nina just wouldn’t stop flip-flopping. She always says that she loves Tristan for who he is, that he isn’t the man he used to be anymore, and she can’t live without him. He is constantly having to defend the fact that he was young and selfish at one point. She knew of his cocaine habit and that he did questionable things. He has told her time and time again (just like that other millionaire we all know) that he’s f’ed up. He should have been the one walking away from her, not the other way around. There was just so much repetition that I could have done without.

This does end with a nice epilogue, and it’s not the last book of Tristan and Nina’s tale in this ever expanding saga of the Stone family. I should have skipped this one this time through.

This book made me upset.
She forgave him, he left. He didn't give her a chance to forgive him. He just left.
Then later on she finds out something and doesn't give him a chance to explain just leaves and tells him its over. Like wth kind of relationship even is this.

He broke her and acted super messed up. He hurt her really bad. He could've stayed and fought or he could've replied to her, or took her with him or SOMETHING. But he did nothing except hurt her. Then he asked her to move on. She was so hurt. Any girl would've been devastated. He didn't do any groveling to get her back. She just accepts him back with open arms. And empty promises.

I know this series isn't over, but I've gotten my HEA so i'm okay with ending it here.
I am happy they finally got married. It only took 4 tries.

This book had a completely different feel for me from the first two books. I felt less on edge reading this story than I did the first two.

However, that is not to say that I enjoyed it any less. I actually loved that there was a little more humor in this book and I loved loved loved the addition of Gage into the story. He is definitely a character that I look forward to reading more about.

It is bittersweet to see Tristan and Nina's story come to an end. It is a great conclusion, but I could continue to read more about them as long as K.M. wrote books for them. These stories are so unique and I have absolutely loved reading them. I can't wait to see what K.M. will bring us next.

Tristan and Nina's saga continues in the this installment of the Heart of Stone series. Plagued with the wrong doings of his father and brother, Tristan has worked very hard to keep Nina close to him and show her that he is not like his family, but when her sister now holds the key to their happiness he has to once again prove his love. But with more hatred from the outside world comes more answers to the real reason he searched her out to begin with. Can their love story continue when it was based on lies? And will true love prevail? Emotional and heart wrenching. This was the best book in the series thus far. The epilogue leads the reader with a happiness only a future filled with joy is instore for these two.

Not a standalone. Must read books 1 & 2.
First half of the book was frustrating as it felt like Tristan became a wimpy mail by staying in hiding and having Darrell solve the mystery. Where was my alpha male? Then the whole fake boyfriend thing was a flop. The book up more interesting when Tristan finally came back, but still seem to be lacking. We learn a few things in this book and take a trip to Venice where everything comes to a head. There were a few things that weren’t very clear but it does end in a HEA.

too drawn out

I could of done without this book. I loved this series but this third book just seem unnecessary and dragged the plot out. How many times can one couple break up and make up over the same stuff? It got repetitive. I loved the story overall but would of been better condensed into two books. This one just didn’t have the hook like the other two. I skimmed a ton of it.

Well Give in to Me was not any better than the first two. I can't stand Tristian he is completely ridiculous. I just felt like he was grooming Nina to do what he wants on the premises he wants to be happy. Nina drove me crazy, she should have just said bye, bye Tristian I'm over your crap. All the suspense in this book is at the end. Overall I would not recommend.
