Shailah Williams was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Track and Field Track Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Williams (jr. Pemberton, NJ/Pemberton) earns NJAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors after winning one individual event and one relay this week at the CTC Championships hosted by Rowan. She won the 200 meter dash in a field of 16 runners with an ECAC qualifying time of 24.90. She also took home second place in the 100 meters, registering an ECAC time of 12.19 in a field of eight competitors. Williams was also a member of the Profs' first-place 4x100 relay, which registered a winning and ECAC qualifying time of 48.00. The performance by Williams in the 100 and 200 meter dashes currently rank first in the NJAC, and rank 11th and 10th nationally in Division III.
