WASHINGTON, DC --- The Howard women's lacrosse team remained winless on the season after losing to Furman University, 16-4, on Saturday afternoon in Atlantic Sun Conference (A-Sun) action at Greene Stadium.
Senior
Jaymie Cox scored a pair of goals for Howard (0-9, 0-6 A-Sun), who honored Cox and three other seniors -
Michaela Jupiter,
Candace Ross and
Darieal Wimbley - during a pre-game presentation.
Sophomore
Taylor Spencer and freshman
Aria Williams each added a goal for the Lady Bison.
Furman (9-5, 4-2 A-Sun) was led by Britt Douglass' five goals and three assists.
NEXT UP: Howard will close the season with a home conference matchup against Old Dominion University on Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m.
