About Me

I am a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine. I am currently interested in applications of bioinformatics and genomic data integration to the genetics of complex human disease. My previous research projects have included the genetics of nicotine dependence and alcoholism and methods for analyzing whole-genome patterns of linkage disequilibrium. Prior to genetics I conducted research on theoretical mathematics with an emphasis on Banach space theory, uniform algebras, spaces of holomorphic functions of several complex variables and harmonic analysis.
