No ticket? Watch UL baseball at "The Tigue"

The UL allotment of 200 tickets for this weekend's NCAA Houston Regional at the 3,500-seat Cougar Park on the campus of the University of Houston have already been sold.

However, M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field will be open for a coomunity watch party for all Ragin' Cajun baseball games. The games will be shown on the scoreboard, and fans will be allowed to watch from the field or the bleaches. Admission is free; concessions will be available, including beer. There will be free popcorn while supplies last.

The Cajuns are scheduled to begin participating in the Houston Regional against the No. 2-seeded Rice Owls of Houston at 2:30 p.m. Friday, while the No. 1-seeded Cougars will be taking on No. 4 Houston Baptist at 7 p.m.

The University of Houston athletic website reportedly Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. that only 60 all-session reserved ticket packages in the 200 level remained. Only offered to Houston fans, the 200-level bleacher seats are $80 packages and the standing-room only packages are $50.
