Arizona Wildcats Football Recruits: Week 6
The Arizona Wildcats 2014 recruiting class currently ranks 19th in the country and second in the Pac-12, according to 247sports.com. Let’s take a look at how the commits did in their games last week:
Jamie Byrd, DB, Iowa Western Community College, Council Bluffs, Iowa
Byrd had two tackles in a 84-40 win over Arkansas Baptist College (Little Rock, Ark.).
2013 Stats: 33 tackles (one for loss), one interception, one fumble recovered, five passes broken up
Rodney Carr, DB, Salesian High School, Los Angeles
Carr had one tackle, one interception and three pass deflections as the Mustangs improved to 4-2 with a 36-22 win over Paraclete (Lancaster, Calif.).
2013 Stats: 5 tackles, two interceptions, three pass deflections
Jamardre Cobb, LB, Salesian High School, Los Angeles
Cobb had 10 tackles (two for loss), a fumble recovery and four quarterback hurries in the 36-22 win over Paraclete (Lancaster, Calif.).
2013 Stats: 46 tackles (four for loss), one fumble recovery, seven quarterback hurries
Jerod Cody, DL, Glendale Community College, Las Vegas, Nev.
Cody has yet to play in any games this season, according to NJCAA.org. The Gauchos lost to Arizona Western College (Yuma, Ariz.) 41-21 on Saturday.

Brandon Dawkins, QB, Oaks Christian High School, Westlake, Calif.
Dawkins completed 17-of-20 passes for 297 yards and five touchdowns in a 63-7 victory over Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).
2013 Stats (Through five games): 61 percent completion percentage, 1,791 yards passing, 20 touchdowns, six interceptions, 128 yards rushing, one rushing touchdown
Cameron Denson, WR, Salpointe Catholic High School, Tucson, Ariz.
Against Mountain View (Tucson, Ariz.) on Friday, Denson had seven receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown in a 56-9 victory.
2013 Stats: 40 receptions, 831 receiving yards, nine receiving touchdowns, 46 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown
Tony Ellison, RB, Granite Bay High School, Granite Bay, Calif.
Ellison didn’t record any statistics in the Grizzlies’ 36-21 win over Lincoln (Stockton, Calif.).
2013 Stats: 46 carries, 390 rushing yards, 165 receiving yards, 10 total touchdowns
Patrick Glover, DB, Scottsdale Community College, Mesa, Ariz.
Glover had two tackles in a 77-56 win over New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, N.M.).
2013 Stats: 19 tackles, one interception, two pass deflections, one forced fumble, one defensive touchdown
Jonathan Haden, RB, Friendship Collegiate Academy, Washington, D.C.
Haden had 25 carries for 108 yards and a touchdown in a 27-0 win over Westlake (Walfdorf, Md.). He also had one reception for 16 yards.
2013 Stats: 40 rushes, 147 rushing yards, three catches, 56 receiving yards, two total touchdowns
Naijiel Hale, DB, St. John Bosco High School, Bellflower, Calif.
Hale had three tackles and a pass deflection in a 75-35 win over Crenshaw (Los Angeles).
2013 Stats: 23 total tackles, one pass deflection
J.R. Hunt, S, Chandler High School, Chandler, Ariz.
Hunt had four tackles, two sacks and an interception returned for a touchdown in a 26-16 win over Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.).
2013 Stats: 28 tackles, five sacks, two quarterback hurries, one interception, one defensive touchdown
Kaige Lawrence, OL, Chaffey College, Victorville, Calif.
Lawrence hasn’t participated in any games yet this season, according to CCCAAstats.org. The Panthers defeated El Camino-Compton Center (Compton, Calif.) 53-0 Saturday night.

Kwesi Mashack, DB, Vista Murrieta High School, Murrieta, Calif.
Mashack had one tackle and one pass deflection in a 42-2 win over Crespi (Encino, Calif.).

Jordan Morgan, WR, Southridge High School, Beaverton, Ore.
Morgan had six catches for 112 yards in a 27-10 win over Sunset (Beaverton, Ore.) on Friday.
2013 Stats: 16 receptions, 320 yards, 125 rushing yards, six total touchdowns
Antonio Smothers, LB, Scottsdale Community College, Scottsdale Ariz.
Smothers had six tackles in a 77-56 win over New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, N.M.).

Marquis Ware, ATH, Salesian High School, Los Angeles, Calif.
Ware did not record any statistics in the Mustangs’ 36-22 win over Paraclete (Lancaster, Calif.).
2013 Stats: 14 receptions, 205 receiving yards, 46 rushing yards, four total touchdowns
Jace Whittaker, DB, Oceanside High School, Oceanside, Calif.
The Pirates had the week off and will return to action on Friday against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, Calif.).
2013 Stats: 43 tackles, 11 pass deflections, one interception
Trevor Wood, TE, Chaparral High School, Scottsdale, Ariz.
Wood had five receptions for 105 yards in a 42-0 win over Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, Ariz.).
2013 Stats: 39 catches, 503 yards, four touchdowns
Jeff Worthy, DL, Santa Ana Community College, Santa Ana, Calif.
Worthy had three tackles (1.5 for loss) and 0.5 sacks in a 21-15 loss to Saddleback College (Mission Viejo, Calif.).
2013 Stats: 16 tackles (four for loss), 1.5 sacks
