Houston
Bre from Bre Writes told us that her hometown of Houston is perfect for a family-friendly vacation. Served by our Sunset Limited and Texas Eagle, Houston has lots to do and tons of delicious food to eat. Bre recommends stopping by the Children’s Museum to gaze at giraffes and of course taking a ride on the choo-choo train through the park. She even told us the best place to snap a family selfie.  Head here to read more of her Houston to-do list.

Boston
Adventurous Moms blogger, Jen did not short us one bit when she dished about all of the kid-friendly things to do in Boston. Easily accessible about our Northeast RegionalLake Shore LimitedAcela and others, a trip to Beantown means smiles for the entire family. Jen’s family favorites include the playground at Boston Common, Faneuil Hall and of course Fenway Park to catch a game. We’re just scratching the surface here. But Jen went all out. San Antonio Riverwalk

Christina Coker shares the best (and cheapest) places to go with kids in San Antonio!

San Antonio
Texas is so big, it gets a double mention on our list. Next stop, San Antonio! With Christina Coker’s tips, your trip to the Lone Star State will be the family Amtrak adventure you dreamt of. As the woman behind the popular Champagne Taste blog, she told us her favorite family spots on the Riverwalk, the go-to boutiques for mom or dad and (our personal favorite) her pick for top bakery for the kiddos. Read on to see her San Antonio picks.

Philadelphia
Back when her little one was a little one, Leslie of And Her Little Dog Too told us about all of the baby and kid-friendly places to go in Philadelphia. For budget conscious families, she recommended making a stop at Sister Cities Park. And pack some towels, because the splash park will certainly be a big draw for the little ones. If you have adventurous eaters in your crew, Leslie also recommended a trip to Reading Terminal Market. It has tons of food options and even wine tastings for the adults.
