Brenda Kennedy is an award winner, an Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and a Publishers Weekly bestselling author. She is a true believer of romance. Her stories are based on the relationships that define our lives - compassionate, emotionally gripping, and uplifting novels with true to life characters, that stay with her readers long after the last page is turned.

Her varied, not always pleasant background has given her the personal experience to take her readers on an emotional, sometimes heart wrenching, journey through her stories.
Brenda has been a struggling single mom, a survivor of domestic abuse, waitress, corrections officer, hostage negotiator and a corrections nurse. She is also a wife, mom, and grandmother. Even though her life was not always rainbows and butterflies, she is a survivor and believes her struggles have made her the person she is today.

Brenda is the author of the award winning book, Forever Country (The Rose Farm Trilogy Book 1). She has been dubbed "The Queen of Cliffhangers" by her adoring readers because books one and two always have a cliffhanger ending. In Brenda's own words, "I write series that end in cliffhangers, because I love them. I always give away the first book in each series so you have nothing to lose by reading it."

She was born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio and moved to SW Florida in 2006 with her husband Rex. They have a combined family, and she often jokes about not remembering what child belongs to who.

What a way to wrap it up!!!!

I can't believe its over. No cliffhanger.

Robert and Drake had me at the edge of my seat! Who knew that Drake would be a freaking badass? Wow! Brenda Kennedy gives us a suspenseful end to this series and it was nothing short of beautiful.

I can honestly say I will miss all the characters in this series. I loved seeing how these families all care together and grew, they learned to work through the problems they faced. The love of a child knows no boundaries and we see that in this series. It is simply amazing what family can do. What love, patience and support can do for a person.

This book is not solely about Madison, I love the story line added by Brenda, read the book you will see what I am talking about. Beautiful addition to a wonderful story. The love of a couple can get them through so much, and this I strongly believe. Faith and love can get us through so much but add hope and we can get through anything and we see that time and time again with Brenda's books.

This series and all of Brenda's book are all a must read. Thank you for wrapping this one up in a beautiful bow.

Just WOW. This last book of the series has it all. Laughter, drama, tears, romance, tragedy, and after it all there is still a happy ending. It started out with the conclusion to the kidnapping of Robert and Leah's daughter who was switched at birth and continues to the court hearing to determine custody of this beautiful little girl who only knows one set of parents but happens to have another set. There are so many more ups and downs and since I don't want this review to be a spoiler, I will just say they surprised me, saddened me and still there was comfort at the end. I so enjoyed this book and how it all played out and the ending. It also made me sad to say good-by to all the familiar characters, that we met before in Brenda's previous books. They become a part of your family after you read all about them and you can feel their emotions in these stories. This is a wonderful conclusion to this series and the previous series. And I am looking forward to her next books, which will be altogether different with new characters, new drama and of course new romance. Way to go Brenda.

I was gifted an ARC of this book by the author. Wow!! A perfect ending to an amazing trilogy. This book picks up at the intense cliffhanger from book two. Bobby and Leah are in the middle of a custody battle when their biological daughter is abducted from her bed. Can Bobby and Drake put aside their differences for the sake of Madison? Who will get custody when she is found? Which family will be left heartbroken? Does Bobby finally beat Abel Kennedy in the ring? All of your questions will be answered and you get to meet new friends, deal with new problems and even get to meet a star or two. I loved how all of the storylines were wrapped up and the author updates us on each couple. A definite must read from Brenda Kennedy. I loved it, as I do with all of her work!! I recommend to anyone!! Thanks Brenda !!

Picking up from the last emotional ending this is a book that has to be read in order. So if you haven't read the first 2 you must because this, book is filled with some beautiful and heart breaking moments that will warrant you know the back ground.
Robert and Leah have the biggest fight of their lives to battle in this book! Will they get the prize of their daughter in the end?
I can't even describe the feelings that grabbed me as I read this amazing ending of a tumultuous series. But I am better for having read about the love that is share between Robert and Leah. They are truly what happiness, love and sacrifice are all about. But most of all the love that flows from the words written in this book... Their aren't enough things I can say to praise it. Only to say that this is a series, a book that you must own and have on your shelf!!!

After the cliffhanger that Ms Kennedy left us in after book 2 I could not wait to get stuck into this and find out the outcome.
We pick right up following the aftermath of Madison's kidnapping. Now at first I had no idea who would do this, I couldn't even think of anyone.
But then it clicked.
Throughout the book we have all the feels as we have it from both Leah and Roberts side as well as Cas and Drakes point of view. It's hard to be put in either families situation but I was happy with the outcome of the courtcase it was the ideal one.
I am sorry that this is the end of their story as I have loved each and every character.
I can't wait to see what the queen of cliffhangers comes up with next!!

Where do I begin One Last Fight was a perfect sending to an amazing trilogy! So much had happened in Leah and Bobby's lives, just as they thought things couldn't get worse their biological daughter is kidnapped out of her bed room in the middle of the night. Will they be able to find Maddison? Will they gain coustidy of their daughter or will the Sinclair's continue to raise their daughter? And to top it all off will Bobby be able to win his final fight against Able Kennedy? Will Leah and Bobby be able to find the happiness they deserve? Find out in the final book One Last Fight! Thank you Brenda for giving me the opportunity to be one of your beta readers!

So the amazing Brenda Kennedy picked up where she left off in Round Two. I can't give too many details or I'll spoil it for you. But what I will say is that this book had me crying tears of joy and sadness. The story wrapped up perfectly. I felt every emotion Bobby and Leah felt due to the excellent details in the story. I've loved Bobby since we first met him in the Freedom Trilogy and couldn't wait to know his story. While I'm sad to see the story end I'm glad that as always the characters found there own peace and HEA. I can't wait to see what comes next from this Author!

I love books by Brenda Kennedy. She writes emotional, true to life books with characters that could be your neighbors down the street. The conclusion to the Fighting To Survive Trilogy brings the story of Robert and Leah full circle. From the kidnapping and custody battle of their daughter, through the most important fight of Robert's career. This book will take you from weeping tears of heartache and sorrow through, smiling and cheering through tears of happiness and joy. A wonderful conclusion to a wonderful trilogy.

I was gifted an ARC of this book by the author for an honest review. Let me start by saying WOW!!!! What a way to end this wonderful trilogy!! I never expected to cry, but I did. This book, like all of the others, have real life events happening which is refreshing. I can't say too much about the details because it will give away too much, but Brenda Kennedy hit a home run with this one!! It saddens me to have to say goodbye to Bobbi, Leah, Mason, Angel, Alec and Emma, but what a wonderful journey we had!!

Let me just say that this is a very emotional trilogy from the very beginning. I had so many thoughts taking place in my head while reading it. I cannot imagine the impact that not only you loosing a child but also learning that it wasn't your biological child can have in your life and how to even overcome it. And that is exactly what we see here the struggles of two families who love their kids and how they become stronger and work it out. It is a story that shows just how much love, sacrifice, and hope we as humans can have and give.

Robert and Leah have only wanted to gain custody of their switched at birth daughter. After she is taking in the middle of the night, things look worse than ever for them. Robert of course wants to think Drake is behind it all and when he gets the info that he isn't, these two Dad's team up to find Madison. Robert and Leah have to stay positive for their family if they are going to make it through another life struggle. Depression is always right there to take Leah away, and Robert has a ton on his plate as well. Will they ever get the chance to know their own daughter?

Will they find her in time or will they go through the heartache of losing another daughter. Even if they do find Madison who will win in court? Another briliant book! I am glad that the Grethers and Sinclairs came together for Madison and also became great friends. I also liked how Brenda told us what happened to Mason et al.

The part about the Yankee Candle store made me laugh as I am obsessed with them. I have also added Giraffes Can't Dance to my Amazon wishlist as Brenda kept mentioning this book throughout the story. I cannot wait to read it to my 2 yr old.
