Yes, there are an increasing number of outlets to choose from when assessing your streaming video needs, and they all provide access to movies and/or TV shows. What they will not all do is give you the chance to see the work of accomplished independent filmmakers. IndieFlix offers a range of shorts, features, and documentary films from around the world, many of which are not otherwise available in the United States.
Created and curated by filmmakers to provide access to independent films, IndieFlix uses a revenue sharing model that allows creators to receive fair compensation for their work. Because IndieFlix films have been accepted by an established film festival—Chicago International, SXSW, Sundance, and Toronto International—you know you’re seeing quality filmmaking.
Personally, I love quirky stories with an edge. Guess what? The people at IndieFlix have curated movie channels that suit me, including Zombies, Dark Comedy, and my favorite, VHS Throwbacks.
