Duluth Trading Co. is coming home.

The company that originated in Duluth more than two decades ago, then relocated its headquarters to Madison, Wis., will open a brick-and-mortar store near downtown Duluth (300 E Superior St.; duluthtrading.com) in the spring.

The company is known for catalogs specializing in outdoor and trade apparel such as Longtail T Shirts, Ballroom Jeans and Fire Hose Work Pants.

“For us to be able to bring the company back to its roots as a destination store is a pleasure and an honor,” says Stephanie Pugliese, Duluth Trading Co. president.

This will be the fourth brick-and-mortar store for the retailer and the second in Minnesota. In October, a Duluth Trading Co. shop opened in Bloomington.
