The Elder Scrolls Online beta invites more into the fold

Additional invitations to the beta test of The Elder Scrolls Online, ZeniMax Online Studios' upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game, were sent out today, according to an announcement on the game's official website.

Users who recently received a beta invite are prompted to create an account and start downloading the client at their "earliest convenience." Those who registered for the beta are asked to check for the invitation in their spam folder or the "promotions tab" for Gmail users. More invites will be rolled out in the near future as the beta continues.

The Elder Scrolls Online will be released in 2014 on Windows PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, requiring a $14.99 monthly subscription. In the future, the developer may offer discounts for buying multiple months and will also support game time cards.  For more on the game, be sure to check out our hands-on impressions with the game's third-person and first-person perspectives.
