Some might say it's "one ring to rule them all," as in: the time, your music, a camera, phone calls, text messages, emails, social media notifications, and a number of other things. Yes, we've gone from smartphones to smart watches to smart glasses and now we've reached smart rings. The "Smarty Ring," which you can use to tell time and control your smartphone (meaning you can get the above-mentioned notifications on it, or use it to make and receive calls) is available for $175 after a successful crowdfunding campaign, Ars Technica reports. If you order it (here), you should get it around April of next year. And no, you're not the only one to find this whole thing rather ridiculous: Business Insider's headline is, "No, This 'Smart Ring' Is Not A Joke." (Also in the works: a smart wig.)
