Auburn fans can't get enough of the "Kick Six," and the university knows it.
If you happen to find yourself on a non-existent page on the desktop version of AuburnTigers.com, you will land on the website's error page, which includes the following message:
"We're sorry but the page you're looking for doesn't appear to exist. Don't worry, we'll put one second back on the clock and you can continue with the links below. War Eagle!"
The message is a clear reference to Auburn's thrilling and historic win over Alabama in the 2013 Iron Bowl.
(In case you didn't already know) Alabama's
T.J. Yeldon
ran out of bounds as time expired, but referees put one second back on the clock after reviewing the footage on instant replay. The Tide then attempted a 57-yard field goal, but the kick was returned 109 yards by Auburn's
Chris Davis
for the win.
