Green and gold wedding colors are perfect for a summer wedding on the east coast. It turns out they were also a vibrant and meaningful color choice for our Moroccan bride, Bouchra. She styled her wedding using the detailed patterns and vibrant emerald colors of her Moroccan heritage. According to world traveler Jeffery Bale, in Morocco “the colors green and gold are the colors of Islam, alluding to the green lushness of Paradise and gold representing spiritual wealth.” What a perfect foundation for wedding day!

Bouchra chose white roses, daisies, and carnations in her flower arrangements. The blooms were then set against a lush bed of greenery, with vases wrapped in emerald ribbons. Paradise indeed!

It turns out that lace dresses are all the rage this wedding season. Lace adds a delicate elegance to any event, and the floral pattern on the bride’s dress tied together beautifully with the Moroccan-esque patterns of the wedding invitations.

Of course, every girl also needs a little gold! Who doesn’t love gold when it comes in the form of a wedding ring, spiritual health, or some dazzling Ivanka Trump heels?
