    We have decided to create shared thread that will combine all the news from our older and upcoming assets.

    I love your art style. Got the square architect and buildings on my wishlist, both are very appealling assets with a great aesthetic style.

    Good see this thread :) - might be an idea to have this link in the asset store descriptions as well ;)

    What's the difference between Square Buildings & Architect?

    For Square Fantasy any more colour variations / weather planned?

    Square Building package contains just models of buildings with custom shader, and Square Architect is a complete project with whole functionality that you can see in webplayer demo.

    We will think about that :)

    Physical Depth of Field -We have now fixed most of the known issues and bugs, the update should be soon available.

    Hi

    I bought Square Fantasy yesterday and wanted to give you some feedback if you don't mind?

    1. It would be nice if there were mobile specific versions of the scenes, because at the moment there are several camera effects used and it is hard to tell what the impact of these might be on mobile, given that this is in the market for "low poly" assets.
    2. Documentation / explanation of these effects would be helpful e.g. why and what value they bring
    3. Check the draw calls - seem a little high in the Infinite Runner scene - not sure why? Also this scene has lighting straight down making it a little dark
    4. Use of substance - seems cool :) especially AO adjustment
    5. Would be nice if one could change the colour schemes for the dominant colours e.g. Green/Brown/Grey so if I wanted Orange instead of green - much like the snow colour that would be great
    6. Dragon - thought it might flap its wings ;)
    7. Might be an idea if you put your DoF shader in this package (as opposed to using the Unity one) and use it as a showcase? that way you could show people before & after and what the benefit is. It also may provide an upgrade path for assets to build loyalty - that's what some other asset store authors do.
    8. Create a scene with all the prefabs in so they can be easily examined/viewed.
    9. More meshes would be nice if you can extend the style - along the lines of other low poly assets where you can build a town etc.

    Hey! i kinda felt in love with the https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/41568 architect and i somehow got this game in mind where you have to solve minigames to build up your city. so you get coins when you play minigames.

    so i think thats pretty easy doable espacially since iam more an artist than a coder but one thing iam afraid of is to put in a raise a building costs x-money function into your assets. so that you raise a building and it cost 10 coins, if you dont have 10 coins, it doesent raise up

    how hard is it and/or do you have somethink already in there?

    Hi, It would be quite easy :) In Square City Architect we have already functionality that after click the building pops up. So basically you would just need to write one script to check if player has enough amount of money, and call the function that is already implemented.

    You have some good points there, thanks.
    Ad 1,3. Because we thought that the package contains just models, so the scenes where made mostly to showcase how you can combine the existing elements. That's why we didn't focus about performance, because you can set the scene as whatever you like.
    And as I said before, the package is a model pack, not a ready made project with complete scenes, that's why we didn't thought of explaining other elements used in scenes. We just added them as some extra stuff, so you can see in action more :)
    Ad 2.The image effect that we used are the basics one from unity from standard assets, so you should be able to find description about the properties.
    Ad 4. Substance is cool :)
    Ad 5. We will think of something to add to next update, like spring, autumn or summer mode.
    Ad 6. Sound cool.
    Ad 7. We will consider that :)
    Ad 8. That is really great idea.
    Ad 9. We are planning to extend the packages with new models, so if you have some ideas, let us know :)

    Re more meshes, more buildings would be nice as so far we have only 2. Next would be some big mountains or cliffs for the distance scenery

    Bit more different style this time, but don't worry, we did not forget about Square series. New package from Square collection is in submission queue :)

    We have just submitted new package Square Ville with 4 seasons customization, so stay tuned. If you like it, we could add the same feature to Square Fantasy.
    Also with your advice, we have added in the new package more buildings and more scenery elements.

    It would be great if the animals in Square Ville Four Seasons had animations (walk, run, graze, etc).

    Love your work! Two quick questions:

    1. What 3D modeling tool(s) are you using?
    2. (a) Is it possible to buy your assets from somewhere other than the Unity Store and (b) do you offer .obj on request? (I'm interested in using your assets in a non-Unity engine)

    Hi, unfortunately our assets are available for now only on asset store. For modeling we are using modo.
    In what asset you are intrested and in what engine you want to use it?
    You can just buy the asset you want, and let us know and we will provode the .obj files for you.

    got it to work the terrain main maps was not set to Terrain_deff

    How can I change the seasons with buttons or change the seasons on a 20 minute interval or better change the seasons with playmaker FSM

    Don't know playmaker, but this script will help.
    And also if anyone else has problems with accessing properties of procedular materials here is small script to help you get started :)

    I just purchased Antigravity Racer and there are compile errors with MeshControl.cs

    Assets/Against Gravity Racer/Scripts/MeshControl.cs(27,23): error CS0117: `UnityEngine.Color' does not contain a definition for `TryParseHexString'

    Also, how do I change the decal on the left wing. It's pretty big. All the other ones seem removable and changeable. I'd really like to change or move that one.

    Hi, It looks that way, that unity refactored some files, and moved them. What Unity version you are using?
    About the racer, unfortunately, this one has not changeable decal, but we could change it if you need it?

    I have literally the very very current version of Unity from their site. It was an easy fix, but you might want to re-upload the asset.

    Yes, I need that decal to be changeable. Anyway you could either give me the texture (without that decal) or make it changable in the package (it's sort of the most obvious decal on the vehicle) :)

    I contacted the publisher several months ago from their support website, and still have not heard back from them.

    Package does not contain the camera flight path as shown in the video.

    None of the demo scenes allow you to drop a Player or attach a FPS Controller to move around any of the demo scenes.

    No video or support documents on how to implement anything. If this product is no longer active, it should be noted as such.

    It's too bad really, because I really loved the art style and fun aspect of it and wanted to make something with it as a starting point for inspiration. Now I'm just disappointed.

    Sorry that you feel that way and sorry for such a long response, but we didn't get any mails from you.
    The package contains only models with procedural materials, this is the thing we are selling. We are not selling a whole game. The promo videos are made just to showcase the assets.
    What exactly you have troubles with and which package? :) So then we can help you?

    Hi. About "Layer Selection Tool".
    For some reason it doesn't save my colors (randomly change them after stop game view).
    Also, it randomly uncheck my "Icon" checkboxes settings (after stop game view).

    Just purchased Physical Depth of Field.

    But adjusting z focus plane distance doesn't work. Also for artistic mode, adjusting sharp and blurry plane range also doesn't do anything. The effect itself does show however...

    So if the z focus is not working, then the asset is not useful so can you please help?

    This is just reproducible in empty project.

    Using Unity 2018.3 b8 here.

    Actually found out that if I enable HDR, it doesn't do anything. If I turn off HDR then it seems to try and do something, but still it won't focus sharply on my desired distance.

    -- Edit --

    I was able to get the asset working without HDR enabled after tweaking some values for the Lens Radius value. But still not working if I enable HDR mode in the camera.
