SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The West Liberty University men's track team placed fourth here Thursday in the 12-team SRU Open Invitational.
Nate Taylor turned in a pair of second-place finishes in the 100- and 200-meter sprints to go along with a seventh-place finish in the long jump.
George Maddox was third in the 110 hurdles and picked up a fifth-place finish in the long jump.
Ethan Delekta led the Hilltoppers' field contingent with a runner-up finish in the discus.
The West Liberty track teams return to action on April 26 when they compete in the Ashland (Ohio) Alumni Open.
