1923 Bourbon & Burlesque Seduces Mandalay Bay

Opening May 1, 1923 Bourbon & Burlesque speakeasy will combine a cigar lounge, a Prohibition-era theme and Holly Madison center stage at a hidden spot adjacent to chef Rick Moonen's RM Seafood.

The nightclub will spin a theatrical conceit of an underground speakeasy doling out bootleg liquor and feature Madison and the in-house performance troupe Bourbon Burlesque.

Occupying the long-shuttered Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce burlesque night club at Mandalay Place, like its predecessor, 1923 will firmly commit to music played by a live band and add a jazz vocalist to sing era-appropriate, Golden Age jazz standards.

As first revealed by Eater Vegas, hand-rolled cigars from around the world will be a focal point and custom barrel-aged whiskey will be a highlight of the menu. Whiskeys already announced include a WhistlePig 10-year straight rye and a Koval organic rye out of Chicago.

Madison will be returning to her showgirl roots with the former Playboy and Peepshow star singing and entertaining as the venue's headliner. The perennial blonde recently transformed into a redhead in preparation for the the new role.
