Outstanding OCE baseball player in 1968 and 1969…First-team NAIA District 2 pick in 1968…Hit .369 that season, leading the team with a then-school record 45 hits…Also had 11 doubles that year, four triples, 23 RBI and 21 stolen bases, which were all single-season school records at the time…Career batting average of .354, which currently ranks sixth on WOU’s all-time list…Is fourth all-time on the Wolves’ career stolen base list with 39, despite playing only two seasons and far fewer games than players ahead of him on the list…1968 OCE team won NAIA District 2 title…Played professionally in the Chicago Cubs organization…Passed away in 2003.
