AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College senior center
Keshaun Hamilton was selected to the Preseason All-Peach Belt Conference Men's Basketball Team, released this afternoon by conference officials.
Hamilton is the second men's basketball player from Flagler to receive preseason all-conference accolades. D.J. Ferguson was a member of that team in 2010.
Hamilton made an immediate impact in his first season in St. Augustine, scoring 12.0 points and leading the team with 8.3 rebounds per game. The Palatka, Florida native was fifth in the PBC in rebounding with a career-high 19 coming against Augusta University last January. Hamilton had five double-doubles last year and scored a season-best 28 against Clayton State University.
The men's basketball team will open its season with the PBC-SAC Challenge Nov. 14-15 at Flagler Gymnasium. The Saints open against Queens University of Charlotte on Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
