Lomopedia: Agfa Paramat

Introduced in 1963, the 35 mm half-frame Agfa Paramat was the automatic version of the Agfa Parat-I, both belonging to the Parat series of cameras.

The Paramat has only one shutter speed, and the aperture is set/controlled by a CdS exposure meter activated by half-pressing the shutter. A green indicator in the viewfinder and top plate indicates correct exposure and red for underexposure.
