God Save the King

Be fruitful and multiply

McQueen Universal Ministries is a ministry that spreads the Good News all over the world. Pastor Annmarie McQueen has heeded the call to preach to the nations and let them know the power in the Name of Jesus! This ministry was developed to let all people, who are willing to listen, know the magnitude of God’s love and power. God blessed us from the beginning and said, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth (Genesis 1:28).” God gave us the earth to be fruitful and to multiply which means to, “develop the social world: build families, churches, schools, cities, governments, laws. The second phrase, “subdue the earth,” means to harness the natural world: plant crops, build bridges, design computer, and compose music. This passage is sometimes called the Cultural Mandate because it tells us that our original purpose was to create cultures, build civilizations--nothing less (Whelchel, 2012, p. 14). Each Christian has been given the mandate to have dominion. If we are not asking for the nations, then we are asking for too little. Jesus gave us His life so that man would not only be redeemed from sin but to be restored to that which He made us to be before the foundation of the earth, that is KINGS! You are a king. Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Lk 10:19). You have authority to not let demons, such as culture, idolatry, depression, stress, sickness and fear to take over. Fight for your territory, your mind, your family, YOUR LIFE! Let others see King Jesus inside of you. God said, He will make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken” (Deut 26:19). If God gave us dominion then why are we cowering down? Why are we defeated? Take responsibility of your life and your community. Let us watch, pray and be sober so that we can hear God. We will be prepared for the world at large. So, take your place in God’s Kingdom, be fruitful and multiply and be a King.

PSALMS 73

I recently had an experience that I had never encountered before. I went playing kickball with my co-workers. We all enjoyed our game and each other’s company. On the kickball field, they were giving out free beer. That’s when my spirit rose up and stopped participating. I DO NOT drink for social reasons. In fact, I don’t drink at all. When I came home I was very troubled because for the first time I asked myself a question, “What makes me better than my peers, that I abstain from drinking alcohol?” I believe this question was not just for me but for you. My mother re-introduced me to Psalms 73. Here’s my version of the chapter, a combination of the KJV, NLT, NASB, MSG, NIV and Michelle’s Version 2014:

Yes, my God is good. But I missed God’s goodness because I was looking up to people. I came so close to the edge of the cliff because I saw the wicked carefree. They appeared healthy and strong and still growing. They appeared free from burdens and did not look sick. They appeared to be prosperous and have painless lives. They are fat and it’s okay with them. The wicked are getting away with everything! They ask, “What can God do for me?” and “How can the Most High help me?” I have been stupid to keep playing by the rules. Why am I cleansing my heart? Is it in vain? Why do I keep myself chastened daily? Is that in vain too? Is it for nothing I am keeping my heart pure? Why am I keeping myself from doing wrong? -- Until I went into the sanctuary of God then understood I their end. I saw their final destiny. I saw the big picture. They are on a slippery road. When life crushes, they will have nothing on the inside to sustain them. They are consumed with unforeseen terrors and insecurities. They will be destroyed, hurt and ruined. They are living in a delusion. Then I realized how ignorant and bitter I had become. I was like a senseless animal in YOUR presence, but in Your presence you took me by Your Hand. You wisely and tenderly led me even when I was foolish. You are all I want in heaven. You are all I want on earth. When my skin sags and my bones get brittle, You are my Rock-firm and faithful. Those who left You are falling apart. They will never be heard from again. But for me, whom have I in heaven but Thee? There is nothing upon earth that I desire beside Thee.

My flesh and my heart, have failed me. But You are the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Those that are far from You will perish, You have destroyed those that whore after other things. But it is good for me to draw near to God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter. -- But I’m in the presence of the Lord, oh, how refreshing it is! As for me, the nearness of God is my good. It is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord. I have made the Lord God my home. That I may declare all Your works God. I’m telling the world what You do!!!
