Homophobe Phil Robertson SHOCKINGLY Has More Homophobic Things to Say

Latest

Late last year, Duck Dynasty king beard Phil Robertson issued an apology after making homophobic and racist remarks in GQ magazine. Now, less than half a year later, he’s once again popping off on gay people, sin, fire and brimstone. Gee, it’s almost as if his PR stunt of an apology wasn’t sincere or something…

During a sermon at a West Monroe, Louisiana church this past Easter, Robertson discussed the GQ controversy, saying “You want the verse? The news media didn’t even know it was a verse! They thought I was just mouthing off. Is homosexual behavior a sin? The guy asked me. I said, do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived.”

Uh, no, Phil. The media understood perfectly well that you were echoing bible verse. At the same time, we also recognized that you’re a bigoted ignoramus. It’s not one or the other.

Robertson then doubled down, saying, “Neither the sexually immoral, nor the idolators nor adulterers nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

(Congrats to specifically female prostitutes — looks like you finally caught a break.)

Frankly, I’m glad that Robertson continues to spew his religiously motivated hate speech. Mostly because I hate fake apologies, but also because it shows who the real Phil Robertson is. Let him talk himself breathless and then see who wants to watch or (more importantly) sponsor his public ventures. Like they say, give him enough rope…
