National Signing Day revisited: Auburn's 2012 recruiting class

Will Adams, a 3-star offensive line recruit, made 40 career appearances in three seasons. After graduating in Dec. 2015, Adams transferred to Boise State for his final season.

Shane Callahan, a 4-star offensive line recruit, made two appearances during the 2013 season. He transferred to Colorado in the spring of 2014.

T.J. Davis, a 3-star defensive back recruit, made 11 tackles with one pass breakup in 38 career games while appearing mostly on special teams. He missed the 2015 season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament during spring practice.

Jordan Diamond, a 4-star offensive line prospect, made seven career appearances in three seasons as a backup. He was contending for a starting job following spring practice in 2013 but a series of injuries kept Diamond on the bench before he transferred to Miami (Ohio) in the spring of 2016.

Josh Holsey, a 4-star defensive back recruit, made 118 tackles with four interceptions in 43 career games.

Holsey closed his career as a starting cornerback but spent time at safety as well as nickel and dime during his career, which has included two torn anterior cruciate ligaments.

He had 30 tackles with a career-high three interceptions and 13 pass breakups as a fifth-year senior.

Darrion Hutcherson, a 3-star tight end recruit, failed to qualify academically at Auburn and went to Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He began his JUCO career at defensive end before moving back to offense and finished his career at Mississippi State, where he had 16 receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown in 2015.

Jonathan Jones, a 3-star defensive back recruit, was a two-year starter and earned second team All-SEC honors as a junior. He finished his career with 129 tackles with seven interceptions and 33 pass breakups. Jones signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent.

Alex Kozan, a three-star offensive line prospect, was a late addition to Auburn's 2012 signing class. The Castle Rock, Colorado native has started all 40 games he appeared in on the Plains, but missed the 2014 season due to a back injury.

Robert Leff, a 3-star offensive line prospect, ascended to a starting job at right tackle in his fifth season. The Fairhope native made 53 career appearances and played in the Senior Bowl.

Ricardo Louis, a four-star wide receiver recruit, made 98 receptions for 1,338 yards with eight touchdowns and had 68 carries for 578 yards with two scores during his career. The Miami, Florida native will forever be remembered for his 73-yard touchdown catch of a tipped pass from Nick Marshall off the hands of Georgia's Josh Harvey-Clemons in 2013. Louis was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Cassanova McKinzy, a 4-star linebacker recruit, made 263 tackles with 29.5 for loss including 8.5 sacks during his career as a three-year starter on the Plains. After initially signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent, McKinzy wound up with the L.A. Rams.

Patrick Miller, a 4-star offensive line recruit, made 26 career appearances over three seasons. He made the surprising decision to declare for the 2015 NFL Draft and was signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers later joined the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is no longer in the NFL.

Ricky Parks, a 4-star tight end prospect, redshirted in 2012 and left Auburn for undisclosed reasons during fall camp in Aug. 2013. After spending the 2013 season at Northeast Mississippi Community College, when he had six receptions for 59 yards and two touchdowns, Parks returned to Auburn as a walk-on during the spring of 2014 but his second stint also also did not last, due to a reported arrest for shoplifting from a local Walmart.

Parks went to Coffeyville Community College in 2014, where he played linebacker, and transferred to Southern Miss, where started three games and made 12 catches for 88 yards in 2015.

Zeke Pike, a 4-star quarterback prospect, left the program in June 2012 following an arrest for public intoxication. He transferred to Louisville, where he played tight end in 2013, and did not return after another alcohol-related arrest in 2014. Pike transferred to Murray State, where he was dismissed in Aug. 2015 following a drug-related arrest.

Gimel President, a 3-star defensive line recruit, made 45 tackles with seven for loss in 25 career games. He transferred to Illinois in the winter of 2016 and record 40 tackles with 12.5 for loss including 4.5 sacks in 2016.

Jay Prosch transferred to Auburn from Illinois and was granted immediate eligibility due to his ailing mother, Iris, who later passed away. The Mobile native became a heralded blocker during the 2013 season, paving the way for Tre Mason's program-record setting season. Prosch was selected with the No. 211 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.

Jovon Robinson, a 4-star running back recruit in 2012, left Auburn shortly after his arrival due to a grade-changing scandal at his high school. He attended Georgia Military College and became the top junior college running back in the country before signing with Auburn again in Dec. 2014. Robinson had 639 rushing yards with three touchdowns in eight games in 2015. He was expected to compete for the starting job in 2016 but was dismissed from the program on the first day of fall camp due to several off-season incidents, including one involving a female student, who later recanted her accusation of assault.

Jonathan Wallace, a 3-star quarterback recruit, started the final four games of the 2012 season, going 46 for 80 for 720 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions. He spent the 2013 season as the third-string QB behind Nick Marshall and Jeremy Johnson. Wallace moved to wide receiver and finished his career in 2015 as the team's offensive captain. The Phenix City native is now a graduate assistant with the program.

JaQuay Williams, a 4-star wide receiver recruit, failed to qualify academically and spent the 2012 season at Fort Union Military Academy in Virginia before transferring to Texas A&M in 2013, when he had four catches for 71 yards with a touchdown. He transferred to Louisville in 2014 and legally changed his last name to Savage, his mother's name. Savage had 12 catches for 135 yards with a touchdown in 2015.
