Moncks Corner woman sentenced to 17 years in prison for fatal DUI

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A Moncks Corner woman has been sentenced to 17 years in prison after being found guilty in a fatal DUI accident that took the life of a 47-year-old woman in 2011.

Shana Robinson was found guilty of felony DUI involving death on Friday.

In November of 2011, state troopers say Robinson crossed the center line on Broughton Road and hit another vehicle head-on killing Candy Zoll in the crash.

Investigators say Robinson's brother was also arrested after giving false information about the accident.
