It's about making the organisation more responsive

To a constantly changing world (and making a profit)
The world is getting too fast and complex for rigid processes and hierarchies...
Very Hierarchical Organisation

I don't know what's really going on. I block information flows. I'm not allowed to use my brain

How much time is wasted on searching for information internally?
Is information locked up in
Mailboxes and hard drives?
In a network people find the right information at the right time for them and without unnecessary silos and hierarchies innovation
can flourish!
This is why a network is faster to respond

Introducing an internal social network is a major change initiative
and the resources allocated to it should reflect this.
I heard this social media thing is somehow official. I don't see the CEO
using it. Looks like a marketing department thing to me. Don't let this

Why invest in an enterprise social network? To make your organisation more responsive of course

  • 1. Why invest in a social enterprise network? Please enlighten me.
  • 2. First of all, an internal social network is not about being social
  • 3. It's about making the organisation more responsive To a constantly changing world (and making a profit)
  • 4. The world is getting too fast and complex for rigid processes and hierarchies...
  • 5. Very Hierarchical Organisation I don't know what's really going on. I block information flows. I'm not allowed to use my brain
  • 7. For example. Does insight From the frontline reach The top (or vice versa)? We must respond to Customer needs
  • 8. How much time is wasted on searching for information internally?
  • 9. Is information locked up in Mailboxes and hard drives?
  • 10. In a network people find the right information at the right time for them and without unnecessary silos and hierarchies innovation can flourish!
  • 11. This is why a network is faster to respond to changes. “it's coming” ”Bring it on” “We're prepared”
  • 13. What are your current threats or opportunities? Can you respond to these with Business As Usual?

  • 15. Internal communications can play a key role in introducing an enterprise social network & helping an organisation make the most of it.
  • 17. n Introducing an internal social network is a major change initiative and the resources allocated to it should reflect this.
  • 18. I heard this social media thing is somehow official. I don't see the CEO using it. Looks like a marketing department thing to me. Don't let this happen to your organisation. But the rewards are worth it.
