The Minnesota Wild have announced the full roster and public scrimmage schedule for the 2014 Wild Development Camp. The camp will take place July 9-14 at Xcel Energy Center.

The camp will feature a “Team Green vs. Team White” scrimmage on July 14 that is free and open to the public. Here are some details on that from Wild.com:

"Fans can see the future Wild, as this year’s Development Camp will feature a Team Green vs. Team White scrimmage that will be free and open to the public. Fans can watch the scrimmage, which will include a warmup, two, 30-minute halves and an end-of-game “all player” shootout, at Xcel Energy Center on Monday, July 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Gate 1 is scheduled to open at 6 p.m. Fans can also attend a Green vs. White scrimmage at Braemar Arena, located on 7501 Ikola Way in Edina, at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11, which is also free and open to the public. The camp will focus on the development of the organization’s top young prospects in both on-ice and off-ice settings. Iowa Wild Head Coach Kurt Kleinendorst, Assistant Coach Steve Poapst and Minnesota Wild Director of Player Development Brad Bombardir will lead the on-ice sessions along with Barry Karn and Andy Ness. Minnesota’s coaching staff will also meet the players and work with them off the ice. In addition, players will participate in daily strength and conditioning education sessions, as well as other off-ice topics, including nutritional instruction."

Among the players who take part in camp are some of the most exciting Wild prospects including Mathew Dumba, Christian Folin, Kurtis Gabriel, Guillaume Gélinas (read the GPW article on his signing), Michael Keränen (another undrafted free agent signing this offseason), Gustav Olofsson, Zack Phillips, Mario Lucia, Boston College’s Adam Gilmour, Brady Brassart, goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen, Alex Tuch, and five other players drafted in the 2014 draft.

The Star Tribune’s Michael Russo has a full list of players attending camp at the Russo Rants blog. He also highlights a number of invitees who are not currently in the Wild’s system. He also notes that Pontus Själin, a 2014 draft pick, will miss camp due to injury and that Tyler Graovac won’t participate as he’s attended three previous development camps, the maximum under the new CBA.
