7.5Gbps, or 940MB per second, the fastest-ever 5G data transmission rate while in a stationary environment. And the first-ever, uninterrupted 1.2 Gbps 5G connection while travelling 100km/h.

These are the numbers Samsung achieved recently in regards to its development of 5G telecommunications networking technology. And yes, you should get excited.

What is 5G?

With an aim of introduction by 2020, 5G is a mobile communication system that can provide 1Gbps speed to everybody, anywhere and anytime. For example, 5G can allow you to watch 3D images of sports game statuses through holograms in wireless communication while you move around.

5G is going to change the way we consume multimedia. Moreover, wearable devices and others devices will be hyper-connected through various means with the 5G being at its center. Can someone say the “Internet of Things”?
