Hi, is it mandatory required for a visitor to include email to chat with admin or can it be disabled skipped or for example replaced with phone number ?

and do we receive email when someone send a message ?

  • For more information: Enable the pre-chat form (limited to email) or use the collector card for a wider range of data.

Thanks for answer, last question from what I read there seem to be Daily API quote Usage and Monthly Bandwidth Usage, Storage so is it a one time fee or or a subscription payment recurring limitation ?

When I try to install 3.7.2 it simply says… Incompatible Archive.

1. Currently, we don’t have a mobile app available. However, you can enable email notifications, and if your mail app allows notifications on mobile, you can receive alerts that way.

2. In our upcoming major update later this year, we’ll be deprecating the feature where the chat widget asks visitors for permission to send sound notifications.

3. Yes, you can set up different languages. For WordPress users, we support WPML and Polylang plugins. Alternatively, you can use our JavaScript API to handle multiple languages.

I recommend starting a trial by logging in with either Google or Envato at https://chat.screets.io to test before making a purchase. Please note that you can delete your account anytime from Settings > Account immediately if needed.

Hi, I like it. Just want to clarify if I in any way can get notified when someone send a message. I mean I not sit and look at the chat all day long:-)

Also is there any way to leave a message like “We are currently offline but leave your email and we get back to you shortly”

Absolutely! You can enable email notifications for new chat messages and requests from the “Settings > General” section.

Additionally, you can fallback to offline form (in other words, offline form) when all teammates offline instead of showing a message.

Bought this some time ago and never got to use it. Installed it yesterday. Worked for a day and now says “chat.screets.io refused to connect.”

Then try to login to https://chat.screets.io/ and it says “You have exceeded daily usage limits for this application. Daily usage will RESET end of the day. Feel free to contact us anytime!”

So im only allowed like 20 messages a day? Seriously?

Currently, we don’t have a dedicated mobile app for agents. However, visitors can engage in chats with operators through their mobile phones.

In the upcoming major update, we’ll be introducing browser-based apps for both mobile and desktop (agents can use the admin panel including inbox to answer visitors). This will be available for users on iOS 17+ and macOS Sonoma or later (and Android users, of course). Stay tuned for these improvements!

250MB storage for file uploads, can this be increased? what will happen if the storage is full.

Currently, our file upload storage is capped at 250MB for Unlimited license. If it reaches its limit, you won’t be able to upload new files until you free up some space. I totally get how this might be a concern, and I want to assure you that we’re actively working on improving this aspect in our next major update, which is expected to roll out later this year.

In the meantime, there’s an option available for you. If you choose to purchase a second Unlimited license, we can increase your storage by an additional 1GB. Is this a script I install on my own server? Why is there limits of these:

Hi,

I just installed the plugin on a new authorized domain with a new email, but once I updated my plan license I’m automatically redirected to the homepage to re-login and nothing updated, I did this operation like 10 times and still no result for the new domain, otherwise whenever I try to access the security tab I’m given this error : Form data seems invalid! Could you please try again?

Hi, I just upgraded from version 2.9.5 to the new 3.5.0. In the “Display options” section if set to “No one” even by inserting the pages where to display the widget, the widget is not displayed. If set to “Everyone”, the widget is displayed on all pages without the possibility of excluding it on any specific page.
