MILWAUKEE, Wis. (July 11, 2014) — Harley-Davidson has ordered a recall of tens of thousands of motorcycles, after an issue with the anti-lock brake system.

The company’s recall impacts 66,421 bikes: the ABS-equipped 2014 Touring models.  There is a brake line that can become pinched between the gas tank and the frame, resulting in the front wheel locking up.

So far there have been five crashes reported with a couple of minor injuries.  Dealers will replace the brake lines and install straps to keep them in place.
