In the summer of 1964, Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters drove an old bus from California to New York. Woodstock resident Roger Lazoff will show footage of a film made of this epic trip, which Tom Wolfe called the “world’s mightiest home movie.”

Roger Lazoff, who entered Kesey’s orbit in the 70s, will show footage taken of this epic trip from will present a portion of this film. He will discuss the film in the context of its time and speak about his reactions to living and working with many of the characters in the film a decade after the bus trip.
