NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A Lowcountry woman is sharing a touching experience about a North Charleston police officer who made her son's day...twice!

While she was pumping gas, Nicole Dantzler's children went inside to get candy where they had an encounter with a police officer who bought their candy.

Dantzler then took to social media to share the experience and even more news.

The perpetrator of this random act of kindness was later identified as Officer Jonathan Lawrence.

He agreed to come over to the house and take pictures with her son and daughter.

For 30 minutes, he talked with them.

He let them admire his police motorcycle.

Nicole's son even got to turn on the flashing blue lights.
