About the Workshop

Effective Twitter use can increase exposure of researchers and their work to the public and potential collaborators from university, industry, and research networks.

This workshop will equip attendees with skills to allow them to become more efficient and effective in using Twitter for a range of research and academic purposes. The Workshop will be followed by a Tweetorial in which attendees will have the opportunity to practice newly acquired skills and quickly grow a Twitter network with peers.

All UON academics (including conjoints), research higher degree students and professional staff are welcome to attend.

Please note: Only the Workshop (11.00am to 1.00pm) will be included in the live stream. The Tweetorial is a face to face tutorial only and a practical session that includes the audience members who are new to Twitter. As such, the Tweetorial will not be live-streamed.

Please bring your mobile device, tablet, smartphone, or laptop to participate most effectively in the workshop and Tweetorial, and visit www.twitter.com for more information on creating a Twitter account.
