In this webinar for the edWeb.net How Video Empowers Education community, presenter Shannon McClintock Miller, District Teacher Librarian and Technology Integrationist, showed how she integrates video into her library and school using digital tools, creative projects, and global connections.  She shared how her students are creating and sharing eBookTalks, as well as using augmented reality and QR codes to make interactive activities and displays of their book covers and book reviews.  She also covered their Stop, Look and Listen program where students can post and view interactive eBookTalks anywhere, anytime using mobile technology, and discussed some other new and emerging uses of video by students and teachers, such as interactive scavenger hunts, to enhance learning.  Shannon shared how she uses “live video” technology to connect students with other students around the globe and Shannon’s students from Van Meter School shared how they use video to connect to each other and others around the world.
