Reporter at Large about a psyciatric conference at Bellevue Hospital. Describes the reception hall, with murals by WPA, also the conference room. There was an engaging spirit of in formality about the audience, a number of women were attending. On the stage was Dr. Bowman, and Dr. Schilder, the Austrian psychiatrist who made the front pages by declaring that "Alice in Wonderland" was a pernicious influence on the childs mind. Cites a few cases--George, a Hungarian, suffering from a paranoiac comples; an eight year old boy with sadistic tendencies; and a colored patient who was obsessed with the idea that her own body had been taken away and another substituted.
