MISUMI ADDS NEW LINE OF 316 STAINLESS STEEL SCREWS, NUTS AND WASHERS,
PLUS VOLUME PACKS OF FREQUENTLY USED PRODUCTS

New products respond to customer demand for specialized premium fasteners,
and for value-priced, higher volume boxes/packs of frequently used products.

Misumi USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Misumi Corporation, part of Misumi Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962) and a leading provider of fixed and configurable mechanical components for machine building and factory automation systems, recently introduced an all-new specialty product family of 316 Stainless Steel Screws, Nuts and Washers.

The new 316 Stainless Steel fastening products are manufactured to precise specifications and the anticorrosive properties of the material are far better than those of 304 Stainless Steel. The new screws, nuts and washers are designed for use in the manufacture and assembly of machinery and automated systems installed in settings where sanitation standards are stringent and frequent washdowns are required − such as in the food, beverage, chemical, medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

Misumi's new 316 Stainless Steel line includes: Hexagon Socket Cap Screws (SSCB), Hexagon Screws (RSSCB), Nuts (SSLBNR), Spring Washers (SSSLW) and Washers (SSPWF). The products are available in a range of sizes and shipping time is 3 days.

Value Packs Now Available for Popular Screws, Nuts and Washers

Misumi has expanded its lines of value packed screws, nuts and washers, which the company continues to develop in response to customer requests for cost-saving, larger quantity packages of frequently purchased products. Each of the new products has a one box/pack minimum and ships in 3 days.

The new value packed products include:

• Box of Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screws in 302HQ Stainless Steel (RCB) and 4137 Alloy Steel. Depending on version and size ordered, box quantities range from 200-500 pieces.
• Box of Nuts, includes:
• JIS Class 1 in SWCH Carbon Steel (LBNR) and 304 Stainless Steel (SLBNR)
• JIS Class 3 in SWCH Carbon Steel (KNTR) and 304 Stainless Steel (SKNTR). Depending on version ordered, box quantities range from 300-500 pieces.

• Package of Washers includes:
• Spring Washers in JIS-SWRH57 (SLW) and Stainless Steel (SSLW)
• Flat Washers in Low Carbon Steel (PWF) and 304 Stainless Steel (SPWF). Pack quantity is 1,000 pieces.

Misumi also announced that the surface treatments of many of its screws and nuts have been changed from yellow chromate plating to RoHS compliant trivalent chromate plating.
