Rome, GA – The Piedmont College women's golf team wrapped up their final tournament for the fall season today with the conclusion of the Chick-Fil-A Collegiate Invitational this afternoon. Ashton Mamula kept her top 40 finish to end the fall season as two Lady Lions competed in the event as individuals.

Mamula finished the second day with an 88 that placed her in a three-way tie for 38th. The other Lady Lion to compete was Malorie Smith (90) who knocked three strokes off her first day's score to finish the Invitational in 48th.

USC Beaufort was able to win the event with a 300 score on the second day and an overall 612 in the invitational. One stroke behind them put two teams tied for second in Dalton State and University of the Cumberland's.

Rounding out the top five were Trevecca Nazarene University (637) in fourth and fellow USA South member Huntingdon College (641) in fifth out of the nine teams competing.

Dalton State player Erika Wardzinski (148) held onto her first day lead with a 77 on the second day to win the tournament by one stroke. Tied for second was Huntingdon's LeeAnn Cahoon (149) and USC Beaufort's Franzi Knoetsch (149).
